I had assumed Some wouldn’t know about what happened and that I wouldn’t have to worry about it if Sean hadn’t told him.

I had arrived first and found a seat, but Candy chose to sit next to me when she arrived later.
I glanced at her and calmly looked away, pretending nothing had happened.

While taking notes, my eyes subconsciously drifted to the cell phone beside me.

But why would Candy have a photo of Soren? And at such high definition?
Realizing I was staring at her phone, Candy picked it up with a simile and said playfully, “Excuse me. Oh! Don’t worry, I just thought he was such eye candy, and it keeps me in a good mood.”

“Jealous?” Candy raised an eyebrow, clearly pleased with herself.

I stayed silent. She was right, but I wasn’t interested in arguing
“Tell me… Do you think Soren’s feelings for you are love or gratitude? I think it’s mostly the latter. It’s a shame you can’t see it for what it really is and rushed into his arms without thinking. When you two- Ack!”
I noticed a cup of coffee next to her phone and, before she could finish, reached over, pretending to spill it

The coffee splashed onto her phone, some of it even staining her shirt.
