Chapter 24
her
“Shes right. Let’s not ruin this budding relationship before it has a chance to blossom. Luna lilly will be with her and she will look out for
Alpha looks to his wife then back to drake
“You don’t hold a grudge against her over what you think I’ve done. She gets a clean slate?”
Drake frowns
“I will never hold a child responsible for the mistakes of their father. She will
Alpha looks to mark, his heart was racing through it all as he watches Roisin.
“You look after my girl”
“Yes sir
he safe with us”
He nods, looking at Roisin. She too was watching mark with a racing heart. Fear constricts in her chest as she watches him, I could feel the tension and chemistry from here.
“You may go, but remember you always have a home with us”
She sighs, turning and pulling her father into a hug. I smile watching them.
a ping of hurt hits my chest at their relationship. I had always admired it, he was very close to Roisin in particular.
But to my surprise mark grabs me and he yanks me into a bug
“Thank you so much lilly, thank you so fucking much
He lets me go, I grin at him
“It was honestly nothing but your welcome”
He grins then he turns to Roisin as I turn to drake, he was smirking at me as he took my hand and yanked me towards him, as I take my place on his knee
“Well look who just became a Luna”
He smirks, burying his head in the crook of my neck. I giggle as his breath tickles my neck as Ben lines up shots of amber liquid in front of
- me.
As I look up I realise the entire place was watching us again, layla pushes forward growling at them, pushing her aura our as she glares at the
crowd
“Mind your damn business”
She roars, to my surprise they scurry of like little scared mice, drank snorts and laughs as I raise my eyebrow at Layla
“Where the fuck did that come from”
She smirks, shrugging her shoulders
“Don’t know but it worked”
“Damn I love her”
Ben says grinning at me
“She really is amazing”

Fiona adds as Ben kisses her cheek, handing her a shot then he looks back at me.
“Ok the rules of the game are Luna starts at one end, fiona starts at the other, Whoever drinks the most wins”
I slap my hands together excitedly, grabbing the first shot in preparation
“Oh your so going down Luna”
Fiona grins
“Ready, set, go..
I take off, downing each shot with ease. I didn’t have a gag reflex so it was easy as I fly through each shot, passing the middle section and I swallow each one until I meet Fiona who had only drank like 5
“How the hell did you do that”
Fiona asks, my head feeling a little buzzed
“It’s a flook, I’m going next”
Ben snaps, refilling the drink as drake chuckles kissing my lips
“When’s the last time you drank?”
I purge my lips shrugging
“With Emma a while back. Why?”
“Just wondering”
Just w
He smiles as Ben finishes filling the shot glasses
“K Luna you ready”
1 smile grabbing my first shot, fiona counts down and we take off, I win again but this time I really had a slight buzz.
“Shall we take a break and dance?”
Drake asks me, I snort shaking my head
“I can’t d
dance”
“Of Course you can, come on
He lifts me up, setting me on my
ny feet and taking my hand.
“Drake seriously I’ll just embarrass you”
He rolls his eyes
“Oh please it can’t be that bad”
Layla giggles in my head
“ok this one we
are going to win. You do dance like shit”
She agrees, as drake twirls us around the floor, my feet getting stuck under me as I trip over myself and almost fall in the most ungraceful way possible.
Drake starts laughing so loud it gains everyone’s attention, thankfully my face was caked in makeup because I guarantee it was bright red right now. Layla laughs hysterically

Chapter 24
“Ok maybe your right”
Drake says snorting as he places me back on my feet.
“Let’s go slow shall we?”
I nod, he slowly leads me around the room, swinging me from side to side. Suddenly I trip over his feet, knocking him off balance as he
e falls, pulling me on top of him.
Layla has a fit as I awkwardly lay on top of a very red faced drake. But I break laughing my ass off, then he chuckles joining me as a giggling Fiona and Ben come help us up.
“Your never dancing in public again”
She tells me, tears running down her cheeks as she cackles away. The crowd around us didn’t know if they should laugh or run away in fear but thankfully the alcohol had given me the ability not to give a shit about them anymore.
We go back to the table, drinking more and generally just having fun. It was freeing, I’d never felt so at ease before. I had always been looking over my shoulder but not now, not anymore.
