Chapter 11
After relaxing at home for a while, I couldn’t take it anymore. I started planning to run a small business.
Simon Parker didn’t object. In fact, he generously handed me two bank cards, telling me to use them however I wanted.
But I didn’t touch the money in those cards. Instead, I used my own savings to look for a shop. After touring around for a while, I finally found a place I liked.
I paid the deposit, and as I passed by the hospital, I saw Alice Mitchell rushing out, her hair wild. When she saw me, she immediately lunged at me, trying to hit me.
“Clara Walker, you bitch! Give me my money!

Give me Alan Simpson’s money!”
I was furious too. I grabbed her hair and yanked her to the ground, then pulled out ten dollars from my bag and slapped it across her face.
“This is Alan Simpson’s money. Here, take it all!”
Alice Mitchell stood there stunned for a moment before suddenly letting out a piercing scream.
At that moment, Mrs. Simpson stormed over, cursing and yanking Alice Mitchell’s hair, beating her without mercy.
“You liar! You liar!”
Already turning into a dogfight, huh?

I watched the scene in confusion until a pair of large hands covered my waist.
The familiar scent of Simon Parker
enveloped me, and my heart involuntarily fluttered.
“What are you doing here?”
At this hour, Simon Parker should have been at the company.
He placed a sun hat on my head, completely ignoring the two of them, and left with his arm around me
“I was worried you might get scammed, so I followed.”
I was out running around all morning, so he had been trailing me all morning?

I looked out the window. Mrs. Simpson and Alice Mitchell were still tangled up, and I couldn’t help but ask, “Why are they fighting?”
Simon Parker pulled out a cigarette, paused for a moment, then stuffed it back into his pocket.
“It’s nothing. I just sent a paternity test to the Simpson family.”
?
“What do you mean?”
Seeing my curious expression, Simon Parker smiled and ruffled my hair.
“Guess whose child it is?”

A thought slowly began to form in my mind, but feeling cautious, I asked with a hint of hesitation.
“Yours… is it yours?”
The car was eerily quiet. Simon Parker’s temple twitched, and his breathing grew. heavier.
Seeing his anger, I quickly backpedaled.
“I was just joking, is it some random guy’s?”
At that, Simon Parker’s expression softened slightly, and he leaned back in his seat, looking more at ease.
“Well, it’s certainly not Alan Simpson’s.”

My God! What a dramatic twist!
It turned out Simon Parker had been keeping an eye on Alice Mitchell. After she had the baby, he noticed her frequent interactions with a hoodlum.
He suspected their connection was more than casual, so he had collected DNA samples for testing. To his surprise, Alice Mitchell’s baby had no blood relation to Alan Simpson at all.
Now this was a big loss for the Simpson family, so they desperately hunting down Alice Mitchell.
I couldn’t stop laughing, practically rolling on the floor. Even while watching a movie that night, I found myself chuckling every now and then, recalling the situation.

I heard Mrs. Simpson was planning to kick Alice Mitchell out. Even Alan Simpson, who was in jail, had been rattled by the news and was preparing to sue Alice Mitchell for emotional distress.
While I was gossiping with Lucy, Simon Parker suddenly lunged at me and hung up the phone.
I stared into his dark eyes, feeling dizzy.
“Clara, what do you think of me now?”
“Huh? I think you’re fine.”
Simon Parker kissed my hair, and his hand shamelessly slid under my skirt.
“What are you doing?”

I immediately grabbed his misbehaving hand.
“How about you like me a little more? Clara, falling in love with me will never be a mistake.”
I…
I don’t remember what I said, only that the night was incredibly enjoyable. We kept going until the sky lightened in the early hours of the morning.
The previous times, I had been drunk and didn’t feel much. But tonight, I felt everything clearly.
