In the photo, Lily’s hair and face was a mess, and her eyes were totally blank–her pure maiden appearance having faded entirely.
As it turned out, she became addicted to drugs in this life too, and it was way worse this time.
And with the country she was in being lax on substance abuse in comparison, her habit grew much more rapidly in this life.
Meanwhile, I had an easy time giving birth to triplets on a sunny morning–to no surprise, they were all boys, healthy and strong
just like John.
“Thank you, darling!”
John couldn’t stop beaming in happiness, and quickly opened bank accounts for each baby where he deposited a few hundred
million.
He did not stop there either, as he put together a grand banquet where rich and famous figures across the world were invited, to
announce to the world his joy.
And in some far flung foreign country, Dylan just gave Lily a beating and was smoking on the couch to stave off his frustration.
The news was on, and he was watching a news report about the triplets.
Seeing John beaming at the cameras, Dylan certainly felt a mix of emotions as he remembered his own miserable state.
He couldn’t understand–he should have inherited his family fortune and married Wendy, and risen to the pinnacle of his life.
How had his life turned out like this instead?
That was when he felt a sharp prick on his neck, and turned sharply to see Lily standing there, holding an already–empty syringe.
“You are going to suffer with me, Dylan!”
She was smiling maniacally–a grotesque sight as her lips were still bleeding. “Now rot and stink with me!”
“You’re crazy! What did you inject into me?!” Dylan cried out in panic even as he backed away.
Wiping the blood off the corner of her lips, Lily’s smile became even more eerie. “Drugs, of course! I’ll let you experience getting
addicted too!”
