Chapter 139 BOOK 2: CHAPTER 9 HARRIETTES POV “She suddenly attacked me.” Sally cried. ofled “Yeah, right. Since you’re a helpless little kitten, After we were separated or should I say, she was saved from my hands, we were dragged to the Alpha’s office. Rowan had his back turned to us as he faced his window and his second in command. Mika stood in front of us. Also, another man that I didn’t recognize was in the room. Chapter 138 BOOK? CHAPTERS Harriette’s PON I’ve been in this rogue pack for two days now. I haven’t successfully cared out the mission I came here for, due to a number of reasons. First off. Ive had no contact whatsoever with Rowan my one and only target. The only thing I’ve learned so far about this pack was its mane 1 was called the Prussia Park The last time I saw Rowan was the day I buried my nose in Rowan’s chest. When my brain finally registered what I had done, my eyes went wide and I tried to come up with an explanation for my mistake but I couldn’t bring myself to lie Shan! Shia! Shit! I mumbled repeatedly. My mouth suddenly went dry as 1 felt his chest rumble with a loud growd “What the fuck do you think you’re doing!” He growled. It was obvious that he was fucking mad or maybe raging mad but either way, I moved away. from him. I swallowed hard trying to think and talk but my senses suddenly disappeared “Tasked you a fucking question” I growled again. I managed to look up at him and this time, I almost fell to the ground. Chapter 137 IK 2 CHAPTER 7  BOOK 2 Hamente’s POV REINAL REINA.1 WAKE UP! My eyes Buttered open as I heard that loud voice. It was far away and at the same time, it was in my head. What was who was Reina? Chapter 136 BOOK 2 CHAPTER & Rowan’s POV  The real reason why I asked for Harriette to be sent to my office was because I needed to confirm if we were really mates. After I found out we were mates that night, I left abruptly and questioned every superior being as to why my fated mate was right here in my Rogue Pack. I wanted to go back out there and tell my men to turn her down but that’ll defile every purpose for which the pack was founded. Id promised not to turn back anyone who needed our help or safety with genuine intentions. Refugees were allowed into the pack only an one criterion; if their Intentions were right.  All through the night, I didn’t sleep. I tossed and turned around thinking of what I should make of what happened. I stopped thinking too much about it at some point and just slept off When she finally came into my office, the bond between us was intense. My eyes sought for hers all through the little conversation we had but she looked elsewhere. Chapter 134 BOOK Z CHAPTER 4 Harriette’s POW Was it a dream? Was it a vision? Was it a nightmare? I wasn’t sure, but whatever it was, was happening for the first time. As soon as my eyes closed and I felt myself slipping into the subconscious, my eyes fluttered open again and I found myself outside the room where we stayed. I looked inside and the first thing I saw was everyone including myselfi What was this? What’s going on? What’s happening to me! Chapter 133  Harriette’s POV That night, we arrived at the Rogue Pack. Both Ella and I. We weren’t supposed to be here together. It was supposed to be just me alone. This was my fight, my mission and it’ll soon become my murder. Once I was released from prison, Mother gave me a bag. Inside the bag g was a map, a bottle of water, and some leftover bread. We’ve been trained to make do with whatever we have in case of a mission and this is the best I could get. It was more than enough. I got to the border of our pack and I met Ella waiting for me while resting on one of the rocks. Our pack was situated between high valleys. She lifted her eyes, saw me, and walked towards me. “I’m going with you, Harriette, and no, you can’t tell me to go back. I already got Mother’s permission. She didn’t tell me about your mission but trust me, we’re in this together,” Ella said all in one breath. I raised an eyebrow at her, confused about what to say next “Fine, let’s do this together then, I agreed reluctantly but I was grateful she would be going with me. For two days, we found our way to the Rogue Pack. We trekked, hitched rides, and slept by the road just to get there. We saw the outside world in a way we’d never done before but we wouldn’t be moved by those material things. They were temporary, our bond with our pack was permanent. Finally, we arrived at the pack at eleven in the night, Since we both looked tired and exhausted, our story would be more convincing for us to be accepted into the pack. Instead of being asked for our story, we were directed towards a building and we were told to wait there. Right in front of us was a mirror showing our reflection. One of the other two people who arrived with us tried to adjust her hair through the mirror. I looked at myself for a second before I looked away. Beauty was vanity. A few minutes into waiting, something flashed across r my eyes. Ella was holding me closely so I had to untangle myself from her so I could focus on whatever it was. It came again and this time, it was showing on that mirror. It metamorphosed into its real state. It was a big red wolf, one of its kind. It had a unique, unnaturally red fur. The first I’d even seen to be of that shade. It was huge and it had red eyes that glowed like fire. I sucked in a deep breath as the wolf stared into my eyes, holding my gaze. My legs suddenly felt weak and I felt suffocated all of a sudden. My mind became wrapped in several images that didn’t make sense to me. It was as if I was in a bondage and something was attempting to break me free Out of nowhere, a hand rested on my shoulder and I gasped. “Are you okay, Harriette?” It was Ella. She had an unusually worried look on her face.
