Chapter 121
As the guy walked toward them, Ryan broke out in a cold sweat, while Winifred, following close behind, gripped the plates sightly. A murderous glint flashed in her eyes as her fingers brushed the knife hidden beneath the plates, her gaze darkening.
It looked like they were about to get themselves into some unneces
unnecessary trouble.
Just as the man was about to brush past Winifred and reach out to pat the person Ryan was holding onto, a voice suddenly called out.
“Hey, is this yours!”
The man turned around, and both Winifred and River let out a sigh of relief. Ryan quickly led the person away in the opposite direction, while Winifred used red wine to cover up the blood dripping onto the floor.
The man’s face lit up when he saw Lana, then quickly turned nervous. “Oh! You mean this card?”
He pushed it toward Enna eagerly. “Not mine at all, miss. I’m with Titan Logistics–name’s Danny Walsh. Always happy to help you, Miss EnnaTM
Sienna remained expressionless, her gaze fixed on Winifred’s retreating figure.
Lana brushed the man off with a few casual words, and he quickly walked away,
Sienna turned to the manager who had just come down the stairs and said. There are wine stains everywhere”
The manager, recognizing Sienna, immediately panicked and bowed deeply in apology. “I’m so sorry, Miss Enna. It’s our mistake, Someone, clean this up right away
“Yes” A waiter hurried up.
“Miss Enna, we’re truly sorry. We’ll fix this immediately, right away.
Winifred didn’t even bother to see who had spoken. She and Ryan shoved the man down the stairs, making it look like a drunken accident, then slipped away from the scene without a second glance.
Just as they were about to leave, a scream rang out, and someone shouted that the fall wasn’t an accident–that someone had pushed the person on
purpose
In a flash, the bodyguards jumped into action, trying to pull up the surveillance footage, but the cameras had already been destroyed. Then, a pushy woman stopped Winifred, insisting she come to her room to help clean the stains off her bag.

“You go first,” Winifred told Ryan.
Ryan shook his head. “No way, Winifred. If we’re leaving, we leave together.”
Winifred didn’t have time to argue. The woman behind her kept urging her. So she whispered, “There are clothes ready in the room across the hall. Change into them and hurry up. Don’t slow me down.”
Ryan had no choice but to nod and agree. “Alright, Winifred. I’ll wait for you in the car.
“Okay.” Amber replied.
After helping the woman out, Winifred stepped into the hallway and overheard a few frustrated staff members grumbling, “Why do they always come after us first whenever something happens! There are so many people here, but they don’t dare question the higher–ups, so they just take it
out on us workers.”
“Yeah, it’s a pain in the ass. They keep telling us to cooperate, but what could we have possibly done? We’re just here for a paycheck. It’s so damn
annoying.
“If the pay wasn’t so good, there’s no way I’d put up with all these endless rules every single day.”
Winifred felt a sense of dread. There was no way she’d make it back to change clothes now–a few people had already spotted her and were calling
her upstairs.
“TU be right there,” she called back
Then she turned to leave, but a group of bodyguards was already up ahead, checking staff IDs. Winifred quickly ducked into the elevator and went upstairs.
When she got to the top floor, she found it was even thore crowded than below.

Chapter 121
“Hey, you! Come here!” someone shouted from behind. Winifred stiffened, but before she could bolt, a door suddenly swung open and a hand dragged her inside.
Winifred instantly whipped out her dagger and stabbed toward the figure, but to her shock, this person was crazy fast. With the lights still off, the two of them started brawling right there in the dark.
