Miles‘ glasses were knocked completely askew. He froze for a second, then straightened them, feeling a sudden rush of anger welling up inside. Of all people. i had to be his own sister standing there.
“Claire! What are you doing? he snapped.
Claire pointed at him and shouted, “Miles, I already know what you’re up to, and there’s no way I’m letting you-”
Before she could finish, Miles clapped a hand over her mouth. “Hold on a sec.” Then he dragged her over to a corner before finally letting her go.
Seeing the guilty look on his face, Claire was more certain than ever–she knew exactly what was going on in his head.
With her hands on her hips and a glare in her eyes, she snapped, “Miles, you’re shamelesst How could you think like that? Do you even realize how messed up this is? Amber isn’t even eighteen yet. IEI tell Mom and Dad, they’ll break your legs for sure!”
Miles was completely lost. He thought Chire had caught on that he just wanted to see Sienna, but instead, she was going on about Amber. “Claire, what nonsense are you talking he demanded, will confused.
