“Amber!” Jocelyn snarled, her voice trembling with rage.

Suddenly, a plan formed in Jocelyn’s mind. She whipped out her phone and made a call. “Hey, is this Mia? It’s Jocelyn. Meet me outside your school at noon–I have something to discuss with you.”

At noon, Jocelyn finally saw Mia arrive. She got straight to the point. “Do you hate Amber?”

Mia didn’t even hesitate. “I hate her.” She wanted nothing more than to see that bitch Amber gone. She was convinced Amber was the one behind everything last time, deliberately trashing her reputation and making her the center of all the school’s gossip.

‘Does she even realize how much she’s ruined my life?‘ Mia thought resentfully.

“Right? I can’t stand her either. How about we join forces and pull off something big? All you have to do is help me lure her out. Once it’s done, I’ll cut you in–1.6 million bucks,” Jocelyn said, her voice low and full of menace.

At the mention of that much money, Mia gasped, her eyes flashing with wariness. “What’s your plan exactly?” she asked.
