Sienna stared at the cars blocking her way both in front and behind, her brows tightly knitted. Her eyes were sharp and terrifying, radiaung a chilling menace. ‘Damn bastards, of all times, they had to mess with me now,” she cursed inwardly.
“We’re running out of time. Lana, Reno, you two need to get up the mountain right now. You must save my sisters. Remember, take the back way and move fast. If anything happens to either of them, don’t even think about coming back to see me,” Sienna ordered, her voice cold and commanding
Lana struggled inwardly, her face full of conflict, “Miss Enna, we can’t just leave you here alone. L…”
“Lana, their safety matters more than mine. Are you gonna defy my orders now?” Sienna shot back, her tone icy,
“I wouldn’t dare, Miss Enna, Please, take care of yourself, Lana replied, her voice steady but full of worry.
Till drive. When we get to the side, you two jump out,” Sienna instructed, her eyes locked on the road ahead.
“Understood” Lana nodded.
As they passed a stretch of thick grass, Lana and Reno quickly jumped out of the car.
Staring at the cars relentlessly chasing after them, Lana gritted her teeth. Miss Enna, just wait for me. I won’t let any of you get in danger, she swore secretly.
“We’re out of time, Lana. This is the only way through. I know there are bombs here–let me handle it. It’ll just take me three minutes to defuse them. If we take the detour, it’ll be ten. Trust me, they’re just regular bombs. I got this,” Reno said, her voice steady and full of confidence.
Lana knew every second mattered. Even though Sienna had more than a dozen people with her, none of them could stand up to Thorn.
In one of the cars trailing behind Sienna, there sat a man whose looks were nothing short of exquisite
His eyes, deep and amber like molten honey, were mesmerizing, and his features were so refined they seemed almost unreal–like a prince above all others. Tall and powerfully built, he wore a bloodthirsty smile at the corner of his lips.
My sweet girl, I’ve missed you so much, he mused, a dangerous glint flickering in his eyes.
Sienna drove the car to the beach, a cold smirk playing at her lips. Thom Noir, do you really think you can afford to mess with me?‘ she scoffed Inwardly.
As soon as
as the car stopped, Thom’s men swarmed in, instantly surrounding Sienna’s vehicle.
One of Sienna’s bodyguards unhurriedly opened the car door and raised an umbrella. Sienna, dressed in a black dress like the queen of the night, stepped out with regal composure
She lifted the umbrella and strolled toward the shore, as if she were just there to enjoy the sea breeze That damn lazy confidence of hers left Thom’s men momentarily dumbfounded.
Thom fixated his possessive, obsessive gaze on Sienna. He kicked open the car door, grabbed an umbrella from one of his men, and strode out. “Stand down, all of you. None of you can be her match. Don’t throw your lives away, he warned coldly
“Understood, Mr. Noir, his men replied in unison.
Thorn watched her back, still utterly enchanting–she could make his heart skip a beat just by standing there.
“My dear girl, hope you’ve been well. Did you miss me?” he called out, his tone playful and teasing.
“Mr. Noir, just cut to the chase, Sienna replied coolly.
Thorn curled his lips into a smile and strode forward. The next instant, a gun was pressed to his forehead. He spread his arms wide, letting the rain pour down on his strikingly androgynous face.
“Garon, pull the trigger, girl. If I die by your hand, I’d gladly accept it,” he said, his tone twisted with obsession.
Disgust flashed in Sienna’s eyes. She fired, the bullet tearing straight through his arm. Thom grunted, “Still as cold–blooded as ever, huli?” “Thorn Noir, how many times do I have to say it stay the hell away from me, Sienna said gloomily.
