“He’s kind of like my brother, Thorn Noir,” Sienna said.
“What?” Nora was so shocked by this sudden brother that her jaw nearly dropped. ‘Since when did Enna have a brother?‘
Then it dawned on her. ‘Wait? Thorn? Isn’t he a prince of Meridia?‘ Nora wondered.
“You mean the one from the Noir family?” Nora asked.
Sienna nodded. “Yeah, that’s him. The Noir family is the one who adopted me. His parents are my adoptive parents.”
“Oh my god, are you for real? The heir to Meridia? Girl, that means you’re basically nobility now. Spill it–did they give you a title, or maybe a whole castle?” Nora gushed.
Nora was even more excited than if she’d just found out she was the princess of Meridia herself.
She looked like she was on a sugar high, grinning from ear to ear as she slapped the water, sending splashes everywhere.
Sienna was speechless. ‘If I told her I’m the royal heir, she’d probably lose her mind, she thought.
“Thorn came all the way here just to drag me back. I won’t go, and he just can’t take no for an answer. That’s really all there is to it,” Sienna said, sounding exasperated.
Nora immediately called it out, jabbing a finger at Sienna with a proud, knowing look. “Please, he’s totally into you.”
Sienna didn’t bother denying it. Nora, looking like she had the whole situation figured out, leaned closer. “Enna, seriously, his background is insane.

Sienna was speechless. ‘Forget a few billion, Thorn is like a piece of superglue, and I can’t even shake him off now, she thought.
“Alright, I’m going to rest my eyes for a bit. No gossiping while I’m out,” Sienna said, closing her eyes. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and let herself fully relax.
But Nora wasn’t about to let her off that easy. “Enna, mind if I ask something super personal? Did you and he ever make love back then?”
Then it suddenly hit Nora. ‘Wait? If Enna’s been overseas for ten years and all she’s had are guys chasing after her, does that mean she’s never even had a boyfriend?
‘And if nothing ever happened with that guy back then, does that mean Enna’s still a virgin? No way. Seriously? But maybe it really is possible.
‘Honestly, it’s very likely. Enna’s the ultimate workaholic. She only ever cares about work.
Sienna paused, her lashes trembling a little, and finally said, “No.”
“Enna, wait? Are you telling me you’ve seriously never slept with anyone? Girl, do you even know what you’re missing?
“No way, I am hooking you up right now. How can you have never done it? It’s honestly so much fun. You can’t just bury yourself in
work all the time.
“You need to loosen up and enjoy yourself a little,” Nora blurted out, frantically shaking Sienna’s shoulders.
“Trust me. I’ll screen every candidate and only pick the absolute best, cleanest guy for you,” Nora vowed, sounding dead serious.
Sienna was at a complete loss for words. She pushed away Nora’s sneaky hand that was already groping her chest,
“No need, Nora, but thanks for the offer,” Sienna replied, trying to keep her cool.
“You totally need it, Enna. Just look at you. Your face is pale, you’re all stiff, and you look like you’re running on empty. Girl, you seriously need some manly energy to recharge.

“Trust me. After I’m done, you’ll be glowing,” Nora gushed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Nora stared at Sienna with hopeful puppy eyes, though it would’ve been a lot more sincere if Nora’s hands weren’t busy being so mischievous.
“Back off,” Sienna said, her tone a bit sharper.
Nora pouted, then obediently swam to the side. Suddenly, her eyes lit up–she’d just thought of someone.
“Enna, why don’t you just get together with Wayne? Seriously, I could have him take care of you tonight,” Nora teased, waggling her. eyebrows.

Sienna had just taken a sip of her juice and nearly choked. ‘What nonsense is she spouting
Seeing how flustered Sienna was, Nora kept going. “Hey, it’s not like I’d let a good thing go to an outsider, right? Wayne may be 33, but he’s been all about work these years–never had anyone by his side. Plus, he’s totally into you.”

“Wayne’s a stand–up guy; he’s not someone you joke about.”
Nora lowered her head and said quietly, “Enna, I understand.”
Sienna really was perfect. Whether it was life or love, she always had her plans and goals.
“I know you’re just trying to help me,” Sienna said. “Let’s soak a little longer, then we can head out.”
“Okay,” Nora replied.
