Chapter 261
Three minutes passed with no reply. Elara’s fury boiled over, her eyes filled with a murderous rage. She fired a shot at \tree. “Find her! When you do, break her limbs–just make sure her mouth can still talk.”
Elara said, “Lana, Umbra Organization was always supposed to be mine. But Hazel had to snatch it. Isn’t it only fair that I take back what’s rightfully mine? Lana, I’m giving you three minutes. If you come out on your own, the offer still stands.”
Lana heard Elara’s voice, folded up the map, and slipped it back into her pocket. All she had left was a sharp dagger in her hand. That traitor Elara–playing both sides and now daring to betray Miss Enna,‘ she thought.

“Yes, ma’am.” The men snapped back in unison.
The whole group surged forward, and Lana kept moving closer to the canyon, the pursuers relentlessly on her heels. Bullets rained down from all directions, making her grit her teeth.
‘Is this really where it all ends for me today? No way!‘ Lana screamed inwardly.
Lana glanced at her phone, but it was dead–no signal, no way to call for help.

Heart pounding with thoughts of Sienna, she gritted her teeth and pushed forward.
Lana stared at the canyon ahead. The river below raged, rushing straight out to sea. If she couldn’t find somethin narrow gap, she’d be swept away and swallowed by the ocean, leaving not even a trace behind.

“Lana, long time no see. Honestly, I thought all this chaos would lure Hazel out here herself, but she just sent you instead. Guess she
really trusts you, huh? Listen, Lana–play by my rules and I’ll let you live.”
Lana’s blond hair was cut short in a boyish style. Dressed in a black tank top and black pants, her piercing blue wolfish, cold intensity in the darkness.

She stood tall and unyielding. “Elara, you really have the guts to betray Boss? Aren’t you afraid she’ll kill you?”
“Betray? I’m the real boss of Umbra Organization. How’s that ‘betray‘? Hazel wants to kill me? I’ve already sent my guys, It won’t be long before her head is delivered right to my feet.
Elara let out a wild, triumphant laugh, throwing her arms wide like she was invincible.
“Lana, hand over the goods and spill the info I want, and maybe I’ll let you die a little easier.” Elara threatened.
Lana curled her lips into a mocking smile. “You? Pathetic. You’re not fit to lick Boss’s shoes. All you can do is play these useless little tricks from the shadows. Elara, did you really forget how you used to grovel at Boss’s feet, begging like a dog for scraps?”
Elara’s betrayal had completely blindsided Lana–if she’d seen it coming, she never would’ve walked right into her trap.
Lana knew Elara wanted to use her as leverage against Sienna, but honestly, that was just delusional.
Elara’s face twisted with rage, her expression darkening as she gritted her teeth. “Hazel? She’s nothing! If she hadn’t saved my dad back then, there’s no way she’d take over Umbra Organization now. She probably just slept her way to the top. That bitch–one day, I’ll cut- her into a thousand pieces with my own hands.”
“Oh? Is that so? I’d actually love to see with my own eyes how you plan to cut me into a thousand pieces.” came a cold, oppressive voice from behind, like the voice of a demon piercing straight into everyone’s heart.
Elara’s pupils dilated in shock and terror as she spun around, only to see a figure cloaked in black step out of the darkness.
It was Sienna. She moved with an eerie, demonic grace–her high ponytail and black cape billowing in the night wind, making her look like a specter straight from a nightmare.
With a calm, almost careless air, Sienna advanced on Elara, each step radiating an overwhelming presence. The moment everyone realized who she was, they froze in place, stunned and helpless–their weapons nearly slipping from their trembling hands.
