Yvonne left Rowena’s room with her face dark as thunder.
Elton flashed a sly grin. “Hey, Rowena, is Mom punishing you again?”

Her parents‘ relationship was a mess, mostly because her mom was hopelessly obsessed Yvonne, the adopted daughter of the Clare. family, fell for the second son, also her adoptive father, Carden Clare.
But Garden already had a fiancée. Yvonne schemed her way into his heart and forced his fiancée to go abroad.
