Vivian’s face lit up with a touched smile, her eyes glistening with unshed tears, a single droplet clinging to the corner of her lashes.
Sienna pulled out a tissue and gently wiped away Vivian’s tears, bit by bit.
Vivian whispered, her voice trembling. “Sienna, 1-1 bit my supervisor, Anya. I don’t even know what came over me. A–Am I losing my mind?”
Vivian whispered the last words so faintly that they nearly dissipated into the air.
Sienna heard her and, without a second thought, replied firmly. “No, you’re not So what if you bit hert just apologize and it’ll be fine.”
