Jillian was overjoyed, but then she gradually regained her composure and said, “Madelyn, you’ve done us such a huge favor this time. My mom and I would really like to invite you over for dinner at our place. Would that be okay?”
“Of course! Why wouldn’t it be okay?” Madelyn readily agreed.
“That’s wonderful! Then I’ll quickly ask my mom to buy more groceries,” Jillian said, brimming with joy.
Madelyn, however, promptly interrupted, “No need for that, Jillian. Although I can go over for dinner, it won’t be today. I have plans today.”
“Huh?” Jillian sounded a bit disappointed. “Then let’s pick another time. When will you be free?”
After giving it some thought, Madelyn suggested, “How about this weekend? School’s out that day, so neither of us will be busy.”
Naturally, Jillian agreed, “All right, let’s do it this weekend then. I’ll also let my mom know.”
Madelyn made a sound of agreement.
With that, the two of them ended the call.
At that moment, a certain individual unexpectedly crossed Madelyn’s mind.

Madelyn sighed with relief and said, “Ivy, could you post a message on our school forum on behalf of the media agency? The main topic should be about those boys who were expelled. Just mention that they were manipulated by someone to harm Jillian.”
“Oh… I understand now.” Ivy nodded upon hearing this. “You mean to say that there are others who slipped through the net in this incident?”
Madelyn promptly nodded. “Exactly! I’m currently devising a plan to expose her.”
In her mind, she declared, Janessa, don’t think you can escape unscathed!
“All right, I can help you with this post,” Ivy said. “But who was directing those boys?”
After some thought, Madelyn said, “It’s another boy from school. His name is Ivan Cox.”
Ivan Cox, a handsome and wealthy young man, was indeed a fervent admirer of Janessa.
Madelyn had already made inquiries. Those boys who plotted against Jillian were all closely associated with Ivan, which meant there was likely something fishy going on.
