Madelyn couldn’t help but chuckle to herself before she said, “These two are my friends. They’ve come for a visit.”
The receptionist, of course, recognized Madelyn.

Since they were just visitors, it really wasn’t any of her business.
“Madelyn, why did you bring us here?” Janessa asked, her voice filled with confusion.
Christopher followed along, appearing completely clueless.
“You guys wanted to know what I’ve been up to lately, didn’t you? Well, I won’t keep it a secret. I’ve been learning martial arts here,” Madelyn said nonchalantly.
The two were instantly taken aback.
What on earth is she thinking? Martial arts? Has she lost her mind?
Madelyn chuckled lightly and then led them straight into the kickboxing class.
At that time, all the students had already changed into their training outfits and were warming up.
People were everywhere, each engrossed in their own activities. Some were kicking their legs, others were bending their waists, and some were practicing their punches.
Without any delay, Madelyn said, “Wait here for me for a moment.”
After speaking, she went to the changing room to switch her attire. Shortly after, she emerged, now donned in an all–white outfit.
At that moment, Skylar blew the whistle.
Immediately, everyone gathered in the center, and their attendance was taken.
Once everyone had arrived, Skylar began teaching them new moves.
Madelyn didn’t bother with Janessa and Christopher. She simply went off to train on her own.
Janessa and Christopher were standing by, their eyes wide in astonishment.
No wonder I haven’t seen her lately. Turns out she’s been here learning martial arts!

She walked toward the two of them and asked with a smile, “You two seem bored here. How about giving it a try?”
Janessa immediately shook her head. “Madelyn, I think I’ll pass.”
Christopher also wore an expression of disdain. “What’s so great about this?”
Madelyn snorted coldly, goading him on purpose. “Christopher, are you just too scared? Are you worried you can’t beat me and you’ll end up embarrassed?”
“Who said I’m scared?” Christopher abruptly stood up. Tell me where the changing room is. I’ll go right now!”
“What’s the rush? Janessa hasn’t agreed yet.” Madelyn rolled her eyes, then flashed a smile, turning her attention to Janessa. “Janessa, I’m only looking out for you. You’re so attractive. There must be many who harbor ill intentions toward you. Wouldn’t it be great if you learned some self–defense moves? It could protect you, right?”
Janessa seemed hesitant. “Madelyn, I don’t want to go…”
Upon seeing her fidgeting, Christopher immediately became somewhat impatient.
He urged from the side, “Janessa, why are you so hesitant? Hurry up! Madelyn is doing this for your own good. Come on, go change your clothes.”
After saying that, he took Janessa’s hand and left.
Janessa couldn’t resist. She had no choice but to join him.
As soon as they left, Janessa forcefully shook off Christopher’s hand.
“Christopher, what are you doing? If you want to learn, go ahead. Don’t drag me along. I don’t want to end up all sweaty and smelly!”
