After finishing her breakfast, Madelyn headed straight university. As soon as she stepped through the university gates, she sensed an odd atmosphere.
Every now and then, people would gather together, quietly discussing something.
Madelyn wondered what they were talking about. She then decided to move a little closer, leaning in to listen.
“Have you heard? There’s this girl in her senior year in the Department of Finance, her name is Jillian Lynch. On the surface, she seems like a pure and studious girl, but in reality, her personal life is a mess. Rumor has it she’s a sugar baby for someone off–campus!”
“Is that really true?”
“Of course it’s true. If you don’t believe me, check out the university forum. There are even posts with pictures of Jillian stepping out of a luxury car. This is solid proof that can’t be faked!”

After the girls finished their gossip session, they contemptuously shook their heads, deeply belittling Jillian from the bottom of their hearts.
Madelyn stood frozen in place, shock coursing through her. How could things have happened so quickly?

Only then did Janessa breathe a sigh of relief. “That’s good. If there’s anything you don’t understand in the future, you can come to me.”
Madelyn gave a slight nod. “Class is about to start, so let’s head to the classroom.”
She was feeling anxious inside and wanted to see Jillian.
