Madelyn was even more confused. “Your boss? Who is that?”
“Grimo,” the woman replied.
Upon hearing that name, Madelyn was instantly reminded of Grimo’s strikingly handsome yet mysteriously enchanting face, along with his deep, arrogant emerald–green eyes.
Madelyn asked, “He wants to see me right now?”
The woman nodded as a matter of course and reassured, “Don’t worry, it won’t take up too much of your time. It will take at most half an hour. You can continue with your activities as planned after that.”
Upon hearing that, Madelyn immediately frowned, thinking to herself that this wasn’t just a matter of wasting time. Sebastian was still waiting outside. If she went out now, wouldn’t their cover be blown?
After a moment of hesitation, Madelyn finally said, “I can’t meet him right now. How about tonight? Tell your boss to wait for me at the hotel entrance tonight. I’ll choose a time to meet him.”
“All right then.” The woman reluctantly nodded before leaving.
Madelyn watched the woman’s retreating figure, wondering why Grimo would suddenly seek her out. Could something be amiss?
However, Madelyn didn’t overthink it. After using the restroom, she stepped out and affectionately held Sebastian’s hand. With a sweet smile, she said, “Let’s go. Let’s continue to have fun.”
As Sebastian allowed her to lead him along, he couldn’t help but marvel inwardly at her remarkable vitality that day.
After the pair returned to the hotel at night, they were both extremely exhausted, especially Madelyn, who had nearly expended a week’s worth of energy.
Madelyn collapsed onto the bed and said weakly, “Sebastian, you go ahead and shower first. I’ll rest for a bit.”
Sebastian nodded and then proceeded to the bathroom to freshen up.
