At Lockhart Group. Sebastian glanced at his watch, realizing it was nearly right clock
He wondered what Madelyn was up to, so he decided to make a phone call to inquire. Just as he was about to do so, there was a knock at the door.
“Come in. Sebastian said in a cold tone.
Harriet pushed the door open and walked in.
“Sebastian, you haven’t eaten yet, have you? I just went out and got you something. It’s all your favorite dishes. Give it a try.” Harriet placed a sky–blue thermos lask on Sebastian’s table.
At that moment, Wesley was seated on the couch, watching the scene unfold before him with a hint of disappointment in his eyes.
“Thanks. Just leave it here. You can go on with your tasks.” Sebastian glanced indifferently at the takeout
boxes.
Harriet felt a bit embarrassed, but she had no intention of leaving.
Standing by the table, she couldn’t help but voice her concerns. “Sebastian, I understand you’re swamped with work, but you can’t neglect your health. You should still eat something when it’s mealtime.”
Sebastian simply hummed noncommittally, offering no further response.
The embarrassment intensified on the strikingly beautiful face of Harriet.
Just then, a bright, youthful female voice suddenly echoed from the entrance. “Sebastian, I’m sorry for keeping you waiting so long!”
Madelyn barged into the room in a flurry.
As soon as she walked through the door, her gaze immediately fell upon the takeout boxes on the table.
After taking another look at Harriet, Madelyn immediately understood what was going on.
Harriet was surprised that Madelyn would actually show up at such a time, which instantly soured her mood considerably.
Madelyn cheerfully asked, “Oh, who brought this food? It smells so good! May I have some?”
Seeing her childlike demeanor, Sebastian had no intention of refusing. He simply nodded and said, “Sure.”
“Fantastic!” Madelyn immediately broke into a radiant smile, unabashedly opening the takeout boxes. She then picked up a fork and began to cat heartily, taking big mouthfuls of pasta.
At the same time, she could distinctly feel the murderous intent in Harriet’s eyes, which only made her laugh inwardly.
She was well aware that it was Harriet who had brought the food, and she had done it on purpose.

Madelyn had only taken a few bites before she playfully complained, “Hmm, this doesn’t taste good at all. Sebastian, are you done with your work? Can we go eat how? I’m starving”
Sebastian gave a subtle nod.
In truth, he had finished what he had to do a while ago le was merely waiting for her.
He turned to Wesley and Harriet and said, “We’ll be leaving first.”
After he finished speaking, he took Madelyn’s hand and left.
It was then that Harriet realized why Sebastian never leh work even after he had finished all his tasks. It turned out he had been waiting for Madelyn all along.
Heri gaze shifted to the takeout boxes on the table, and her expression darkened.
Wesley swiftly stood up and volunteered, “Harriet, let me take you home.”
Harriet put away the takeout boxes, turned around, and said coldly, “No, thank you”
Ten minutes later, the young couple settled themselves in a five–star Epean restaurant.
After ordering a steak, Madelyn began to eat and casually started talking about the performance.
Upon hearing that she was playing the female lead, Sebastian immediately furrowed his brows. “Do you think you can handle it?”
Doubts inevitably crept into his heart. She’s a bit of a daredevil. Can she really pull off such a complex character?
“What, are you doubting me?” Madelyn could clearly sense Sebastian’s mistrbst and immediately protested in dissatisfaction.
Sebastian gave a casual laugh. “What do you think?”
“L…” Madelyn had to admit she was indeed feeling a bit guilty.
After all, she had no stage experience. Her only encounter with the stage was when she was very young. Her kindergarten teacher had assigned her the role of the ugly duckling. However, for reasons unknown, she had fainted the spot, and so the matter was left at that.

He was the man who had previously bound Madelyn and later released her, Phantom, one of the two major assistants under Morgana.
At that moment, a subordinate was bent over in front of him, respectfully giving an update on the recent circumstances surrounding Madelyn.
According to the reports from his subordinates, Madelyn was seemingly unaffected by Oceanic Empire. She continued her usual routine of eating and drinking without a hint of panic. On the other hand, Madelyn’s fiancé, Sebastian, seemed to have become wary of the people from Oceanic Empire.
A smirk, filled with mischief, tugged at Phantom’s lips.
That woman is interesting.
And that man actually dares to prepare to confront Oceanic Empire. Clearly, he’s not an ordinary man.
Phantom remembered the look in Sebastian’s eyes that day had sent a chill through his heart.
Aside from Morgana, there wasn’t another person in this world who could make him shudder. Things are getting more and more interesting.
“Keep a close watch on them,” he ordered coldly.
“Understood,” the subordinate said before taking his leave.
Just then, Phantom’s phone began to ring.
An urgent international report came in. “Phantom, your partner, Nightingale, has been sent to South Atharia by Ms. Morgana for a mission. This mission is classified as Class A…”
A subtle tremor flickered in Phantom’s gaze when he learned of this piece of intelligence,
In the organization, a Class A mission was deemed to have a difficulty rating of four stars, with five stars. being the highest possible rating.
Up until now, aside from Morgana, no one had ever undertaken a five–star mission.
