Are you going to spend your whole life living in the fantasy of being with him? Am I, Wesley, really that inferior? Am I doomed to forever exist in the shadow of Sebastian?”
As Wesley finished speaking, his tone became significantly heavier, and his demeanor was incredibly irritable.
Harriet was taken aback by the intensity, her own anger flaring up in response. “Wesley, what’s with your random outburst at me? What did I do to provoke you?”
At this point, Wesley took a deep breath, realizing that he had unfairly taken out his anger on Harriet.
