“Sebastian, guess what I’ve prepared for you?” she cheerfully asked as soon as she stepped through the door.
Sebastian was in the middle of something when he looked up to see Madelyn standing in front of him with a beaming smile, holding a bouquet of flowers. He couldn’t help but furrow his brows. “What are you doing?”

Maintaining her smile, she sidled up to him. “Sebastian, please don’t be mad. Look at these flowers. I chose them especially for you.”
As she spoke, she brought the flower up to Sebastian’s nose. “Take a whiff. Doesn’t it smell wonderful? This flower has a beautiful name. It’s called the Blue Enchantress rose. Its symbolic meaning is pure, unadulterated love.”
