Sebastian’s smile widened, but he compromised, “Fine. I’ll order takeout then. What would you like to eat?”
“I’m not sure. You decide.” Madelyn pouted. I don’t care about that! I’d eat anything to ease the searing pain.

About half an hour later, Malcolm brought in the takeout. The two of them then moved to the couch to dig in
Madelyn was utterly drained from the intense activity carlier, and her stomach was empty. She started drooling the moment she caught a whiff of the food.
Almost immediately, she began eating heartily as if she had starved for three days.
She even choked on her food and coughed, which tickled Sebastian pink.

She had just finished her shift too and had barely buckled her seatbelt when she saw their loving interaction. Instantly, she was consumed by a jealousy so intense it nearly drove her mad.
She had spent the entire day waiting outside for Sebastian, but he never showed up, but now, she saw the two of them so inseparable together. Of course, she was livid.
