Upon hearing this, Javier immediately nodded. “Don’t worry, Ms. Sherritt. I’ll take care of this.”
“Alright, it’s up to you now.” As soon as Janessa ended the call, a malicious glint sparked in her eyes, igniting a blaze within.
Meanwhile, after school, Madelyn headed straight to the combat training center for training. Once she finished, she dragged her weary body back home.
When she got home, she was surprised to find that Sebastian had already returned and was currently sitting on the couch, waiting for her.
A sweet smile immediately graced the corners of Madelyn’s mouth, her face lighting up. “Sebastian, I’m back,” she said.
Sebastian gave her a casual glance, nodding slightly. “Let’s eat.”
Following that the two of them shared a meal together.
During the meal, even though Sebastian didn’t speak much, he continuously served Madelyn more food. This simple act filled Madelyn’s heart with warmth.
During their occasional exchanges of glances, Madelyn’s eyes shone brightly, as if they glistening stars, reflecting immense happiness and contentment.
