Janessa immediately laughed. “Ms. Thornton, you truly are a clever one, aren’t you? I haven’t spoken, yet you already know why I’m calling you. In this case, I won’t beat around the bush anymore.”
Following that, Janessa made her intentions clear. “All I want from you is a small favor. Just help me by discreetly sharing information about the Thornton family’s company. Specifically, I’m interested in the project that Madelyn is currently working on.”
Upon hearing those words, Eunice nodded.
However, she wasn’t foolish. She wouldn’t just let others use her without gaining anything in return.
Therefore. Eunice asked, “I can provide you with this information, but what exactly is your intention?”
Janessa chuckled in response. “You’ll find out what I plan to do soon enough.”
“Fine.” Eunice was somewhat at a loss for words. Then, she added cautiously, “I can give you the information, but you have to assure me that I won’t be involved in this matter in any way.”
After much difficulty, Eunice managed to earn her father’s trust. She didn’t want to lose everything just like that
Janessa immediately broke into a joyful smile. “Don’t worry. There’s absolutely no downside to this for you.”
“That’s good, then.” Eunice nodded in agreement.
Following that, the two of them ended the phone call.
Eunice didn’t waste any time and immediately went to the project department. Then, under the guise of reviewing recent work, she simultaneously tracked and familiarized herself with all the projects Madelyn was involved in.
Based on her observations, Madelyn was currently handling three projects.
One of the projects was nearing completion, while another had just begun discussions for collaboration. Only one of the projects was in production, and the partner appeared to be a well–known major company.

Kieran was baffled and taken aback for a moment, thinking. What did he say? Weirdo? My outfit is so trendy that even the most popular male celebrity in the entertainment industry pales in comparison. Yet, this person refers to me as a weirdo? This is simply preposterous!
At that thought, Kieran shouted at the factory manager “Get your manager out here now!”
Now, it was the factory manager’s turn to be perplexed. You’re looking for me?”
“Are you the manager?” Kieran glared at the man, his anger flaring up at once. “You wretch, do you know. who I am? I’m Kieran Jiminez of Jiminez Corporation!”
“What? Y–You’re Mr. Jiminez?” The manager was shocked to his core.
In reality, the factory manager’s father was an employee of Jiminez Corporation, which was why Kieran had gone there.
Kieran thought. I didn’t expect him to call me a weirdo. Is he courting death?
“I’m so sorry. I had no idea that it was you, Mr. Jiminez. I spoke out of turn earlier. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive my rudeness,” the factory manager apologized profusely.
Kieran was so furious that he was just short of throwing a punch.
However, considering the number of people around, he forcefully swallowed his anger.

The manager dared not disobey and promptly followed along obediently.

However, the next second, she was taken aback because Derek’s expression at that moment was incredibly gloomy, to the point of being somewhat terrifying.
It seemed as though something significant had happened, causing his entire aura to change.
“Dad, what happened?” Madelyn asked, her heart skipping a beat.
Derek shook his head, placing a newspaper before Madelyn. “Madelyn, take a look for yourself.”
Madelyn wore a look of bewilderment, still unsure of what had transpired. All she could do was pick up the newspaper and take a look.
Following that, her eyes instantly widened. “What happened?”
An article about a well–known pharmaceutical manufacturing factory in the suburbs was featured in the newspaper: Last night, a renowned pharmaceutical manufacturing factory in our city experienced an explosion due to an error in drug miring. One of the employees was involved in the incident and is critically injured! The employee is in the hospital receiving emergency treatment, reportedly in acritical condition. In response, there is a flood of negative comments online. Many expressed their apprehension, claiming they wouldn’t dare use the medicines produced by this factory anymore.
In addition, the article was accompanied by a multitude of on–site photos. The images of the injured employee and the blood–stained ground were shockingly published right in the newspaper. The scenes were too gruesome to behold.
“How could this be?” Madelyn was instantly shocked.
As far as she knew, that pharmaceutical manufacturing factory had been a reputable brand for decades. The medications were formulated by experienced pharmacists and there had never been any issues,
