“We just received word from the hospital. The employee who was accidentally injured passed away unexpectedly last night,” a frantic Cyrus replied, his tone slightly impatient. “The media has gotten wind of it, and it’s an utter mess online. The stain on our company’s reputation is worsening, Ms. Thornton.”
Shocked by the turn of events. Madelyn jumped out of bed and hurried over to the wardrobe.
“Don’t worry. I’ll make my way to the office now!”
After ending the call, Madelyn hastily changed her clothes and headed straight for Thornton Corporation.
Meanwhile, countless media outlets had gathered at the company building, blocking the entrance entirely.
Almost all the security guards at Thornton Corporation had been mobilized, but even then, they struggled to get the situation under control.
