3 Chapter 3
“I’ve already bought those for Liliana,” my mother said immediately.
Willa instantly looked at Wyatt with teary eyes. “If my mother were still alive, she would have definitely bought them for me.”
Wyatt looked at us with a stern expression. “So, you choose your own daughter over Willa. I can’t imagine what she must have suffered under your care all these years.”
Then, he pulled a black card from his pocket and slammed it on the counter.

“Have everything in this store wrapped up for my future mate,” he said.
My mother looked at them, trembling with anger.
grabbed her arm, trying to calm her down. “Let it go, Mom. I didn’t really like them anyway.“”
I pulled her out of the store, with Willa and Wyatt following behind us.
Just then, chaos erupted on the street as a silver dust bomb was detonated in the crowd.
In that critical moment, Wyatt shoved me hard–right into the path of the spreading silver dust -to protect Willa.
Before I could even react, searing pain shot through my skin. Before I lost consciousness, I saw Wyatt walking toward me with a worried look on his face.
However, Willa quickly pulled him back, burying her face in his chest.
“I’m so scared, Wyatt!”
He immediately wrapped his arms around her and turned away.
When I woke up, I was lying in the pack
infirmary, my

“Wyatt is a beast! How dare he push you toward the silver dust!”
My face was as pale as a sheet. I raised my arm and wiped away her tears. “Don’t cry, Mom. I’m not going to bond with him anyway. From now on, the farther we stay away from them, the better.”
She cried even harder. “After something like this, your father still takes her side. He hasn’t come to see you once since the incident.”
This wasn’t the first time he’d done something like this, so I was already used to it.
The next day, Wyatt came to the infirmary, bringing a cheap pair of earrings as a substitute. “Liliana, I didn’t mean to push you yesterday. In the heat of the

He admitted in a guilt–ridden tone, “It was my fault. As long as you promise not to harm Willa again, I can allow you to be my concubine in private, after I officially bond with her.”

I looked at him with a frown. “Concubine?”
Wyatt nodded.

“Willa has recovered, so my mate bond with her will naturally be restored. However, seeing how infatuated you are, and now that your reputation and body are ruined, your father has already agreed to my proposal.”
“Hmph!” I sneered.
A concubine in private? In other words, he wants me to be his plaything?
I took a deep breath, about to speak, when Willa walked in, wearing a designer dress and the pair of pink diamond earrings from before.
“Liliana, Wyatt had his assistant pick out these earrings for you. They’re made of the finest crystal. Do you like them?”
These cheap crystals couldn’t possibly compare to her pink diamond earrings, which sparkled under the light. It was a perfect reflection of the gap between Willa’s and my status in Wyatt’s heart.
I forced a smile and nodded in agreement.
With a satisfied expression, Willa led Wyatt away.
For the next few days, I stayed in my room to avoid any conflict with Willa.
On the day of my bonding ceremony with Jaxon, I put on my bridal tiara and gown. I quietly told my mother Willa’s secret and asked her to make the necessary arrangements.
She nodded tearfully and saw me off.
Wyatt and Willa had been on vacation for the past few days. As he was dropping her off, they happened to see a ceremonial procession leaving our pack.
Wyatt asked, “Who’s in the carriage? Doesn’t your family only have two daughters?”
My mother wiped the tears from the corner of her
eye.
She replied coldly, “It’s Liliana. She’s bonding with Jaxon Thorne today.”
The news stunned Wyatt.
“What?” he roared in disbelief.
