Three days after my bonding ceremony, I returned to the Mistwood Pack for the first time, as was custom. My mother held my hand and told me everything that had happened between Wyatt and Willa. O
“You were right, Liliana. That shameless bitch actually dared to betray her Alpha!”
When I was sixteen and Willa was eighteen, my father hired that music tutor. At first, he always praised me as a talented apprentice.
However, over time, his attitude changed drastically. He would complain to my father from time to time about my lack of discipline, leading my father to punish me. Thinking back now, Willa had likely traded her body for this.
In my past life, after I bonded with Wyatt, Willa regained her senses and seduced him, and he later severed our bond. When I discovered her affair with the music tutor and was about to tell Wyatt the truth, she killed me to silence me.
This time, I was going to use her secret to make her face the consequences of her actions.
“Your father fell ill from anger. If you and Jaxon hadn’t come to visit him, he’d still be bedridden!”
No wonder he looked so pale at the dinner table.
Still, his reaction was completely understandable. He had poured so much love and effort into raising his eldest daughter, only for her to turn out to be such a shameless woman.
She had utterly shamed him in front of all the packs.
With his pride, I was sure my father wouldn’t be leaving the house anytime soon.
I held my mother’s hand tightly and said, “Mom, after this, it’s hard to say if Willa will ever regain his trust. But I think it’s best not to mention her in front of Father.”
My mother smiled and nodded. “Don’t worry, I know how to handle it. Speaking of which, Jaxon isn’t as fearsome as the rumors say. He was surprisingly gentle and polite at the dinner table just now. Is his pack treating you well?”
A hint of shame appeared on my face. “Mom, people always love to spread baseless rumors. I’m doing very well in his pack, you don’t need to worry about me.”
“That’s good to hear. Then I suppose the rumors about him being cursed must be false too.”
I had been sharing a bed with Jaxon for the past few days, but he hadn’t made a move. Unfortunately, that rumor seemed to be true.
However, not wanting to worry my mother, I nodded.
“Jaxon is strong and healthy. They were just spreading lies.”
Hearing this, my mother visibly relaxed. We talked late into the night before I got up to go home
with Jaxon.
However, as soon as I stepped out of the house, I saw Wyatt standing in the yard, staring at me

“Liliana…”
I said to him coldly, “Alpha Ravencrest, this is my home. You are not welcome here.”
With that, I turned to leave. I was now the Luna of the Thorne Pack, so naturally, I had to avoid any unnecessary scandals.
I didn’t expect Wyatt to chase after me and grab my wrist. I could smell the strong scent of alcohol on him.
“Liliana, I’ve been thinking for days, and I’ve finally figured it out. The one I’ve always loved is you. Sever your bond with Jaxon and come with me, please?”
I wrenched my hand free. “Are you insane? Why would I abandon my Alpha mate to elope with you?”
Wyatt grabbed my shoulders, his voice filled with a self–righteous fanaticism, “Haven’t you adored me since you were a child, Liliana?”
