However, Wyatt ignored my words and hugged me like a madman.
“Jaxon is a cursed man! He can’t even bond, you won’t find any satisfaction with him!”
“I love you, Liliana. Come with me, I’m begging you!”
Hearing him insult Jaxon, I struggled out of his embrace in a fury and slapped him across the
face.
“I will not allow you to insult my mate like that!”
“I’m not insulting him. Who doesn’t know that Jaxon is a cursed man?! He even killed his three
previous mates with his own hands!”
I slapped him again with the back of my hand.
“If you dare insult him one more time, I won’t hold back.”
Wyatt was about to say something else when Jaxon arrived with his Beta guards.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, my moonlight.”
The moment he arrived, I couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. I ran to his side and linked my arm with his.
“Alpha Ravencrest seems to have gone mad from missing my sister. We had a small disagreement, that’s why you had to wait.”
Jaxon ran his fingers through my hair. He soothed me in a gentle voice, “It’s alright.”
He turned to Wyatt and ordered the guards beside him, “Since Alpha Ravencrest is drunk,
escort him back to his pack. Make sure he gets home safely.”
The guards immediately stepped forward and seized Wyatt. However, the direction they took

That night, Jaxon and I had dinner and returned to our bedroom to rest as usual.
This time, I felt his warm hand wrap around my w. Though confused, I didn’t resist his touch.
Unconsciously, my hand brushed against something hard and hot. I stammered, “You… you…”
Jaxon smiled and pulled me into his arms, his breath hot. “Are you satisfied, my mate?”
Before I could say a word, he pressed his lips to mine.
The curtains fell, veiling the passion we shared in our room that night.
The next day, Jaxon explained that the rumors of him being cursed were intentionally spread by
him.

Initially, he was in no mood for romance, focused solely on building his enterprise abroad. To avoid unnecessary political marriages, he had fabricated his condition.
I snuggled in his arms and asked, “What about the rumors of you being violent and brutal?”
Jaxon shook his head. “Those aren’t true either. My previous mates were all forced upon me by my political rivals to test me. Of course, I never touched them.”
“However, I didn’t want them to spend the rest of their lives in a loveless bond, so I sent them abroad and gave them new identities.”
So that was it. I looked up at him and asked, “Then why did you choose to tell me the truth today? Aren’t you afraid I’ll tell everyone?”
Jaxon leaned down and pecked me on the forehead. “You’re my mate, and I think having a litter of pups with you wouldn’t be a bad idea.”
“My love, shall we have some pups together?”
I replied shyly, “If you’d like…”
He tapped my nose and said softly, “Call me Jax.”
“Jax.”
Later, we settled down together abroad.
In our third year abroad, my father passed away from depression over the decline of his pack. Afterward, Jaxon agreed to let my mother spend the rest of her life with us.
I learned from my mother that Wyatt’s ability to shift had been stripped from him after an

had become a much gloomier and more broken person than before.
As for Willa, perhaps unable to bear life in the convent, she attempted to escape. A forbidden ritual she used backfired, and she was ultimately ‘purified‘ in extreme agony.
Looking at our sleeping twins, I listened as my mother recounted the stories of the past.
The things she spoke of felt like they had happened a lifetime ago, and all I could do was sigh quietly.
