Chapter 10
Kodak’s POV
This was the first time I had to suppress my wolf for an extended period. Alpha wolves are proud creatures, so I knew Jaguar would not appear until my wound had healed.
If he did show up, it would mean my wound had healed enough for the scars to fade, Whether I was whipped by an Alpha publicly or in secret, the outcome would be the same.
I accepted the punishment without my wolf, meaning to heal without its power how was I going to explain to my pack that their Alpha had been whipped?
I had hoped Alpha Marrock would have found a different solution instead of resorting to such a humiliating act. By choosing this path, he severed all ties with the silent claw pack.
Not even Zeeva could sway my decision. Did she think I was a fool? Her tears ceased as she was dragged away, and when the door opened, there was no trace of sorrow in her CYCL
I could sense her satisfaction at seeing me vulnerable, yet she pretended to care. It made me question the authenticity of her love for me
The realization that I had been deceived hit me hard. Perhaps the pain was intensified because I had met my match in this game we played, and they had lost, leaving me to pay the price
warm blood seeped onto my pants, but I refused to
I endured the pain stoically as Alpha Marrock heartlessly whipped me a hundred times. My wa show any emotion.
The intensity of the pain was excruciating, but I gritted my teeth and bore it. I was grateful that I had not brought any of my warriors with me. The shame would have been unbearable.
All I wanted now was to receive medical attention to prevent infection in my wounds. Healing would take longer without my wolf’s power, and I would be able to communicate with him until then
The thought of being without my wolf made me feel less than human as 1 hurried back to the comfort of my pack. It was particular car following me.

I looked familiar, like one I had encountered at the northern pack. To confirm my suspicions, I deliberately made a few wrong turns, but the Rover behind me continued to tail closely.

It was evident that I was being followed. The reason soon became clear. Alpha Marrock wanted to track my movements to uncover the truth about the woman I had supposedly been with, right?
I had a plan in mind. Observing the car behind me closely, I seized the opportunity when the road cleared and abruptly hit the brakes. Caught off guard. the driver behind me couldn’t react in time, leading to a collision.
I was enough to send his car crashing into a tree
It was a calculated move on my part. I swerved slightly, causing him to only hit my tail light, but it w aber the impact
The vehicle flipped multiple times before I approached and extracted the driver from the wreckage.
He was severely injured, coughing up blood: “Why were you following me?” I demanded, his condition worsening.
“Zeeva…” he struggled to speak through the blood. “Zeeva what? If you tell me before you pass, I may spare your family.
His eyes lit up at the mention of his family, understanding the consequences of withholding information. With great effort, he managed to reveal,
“Zeeva instructed me to track your movements and report back to her
His injuries were grave, indicating the severity of agony, but justice had to be served

“Where is your phone!”
He retrieved the blood–stained phone from his blazer pocket, blood seeping from his side. Despite his condition, he had dared to spy on me, and he would face the consequences.
“Call her and put it on speaker. Her father needs to hear this too.”
He obeyed my every command, saying, “I’m sorry I had an accident and I
I don’t think I can
au make it
“What are you saying! An accident? Why? I heard Zeeva’s voice, but her father did not respond.

Realizing he was dead and the fuel was leaking with the car about to explode, I quickly carried and threw him inside, hastening the explosion as the car went up in flames.
1 got into my car, away from the burning heat, and dialed Alpha Marrock’s number, seething.
“How dare you send a spy alter me? He’s dead, and since you’ve already had your revenge, I will make sure to send you an invitation to my wedding in a few days.
The worst embarrassinent would be for them to witness me marrying another woman who was not Zerva
This was the shame I wanted to avoid, hoping to end things amicably, but they chose to betray me.
Well. I’m glad because it erased any respect, love, and remorse I once felt. All I feel towards the northern pack, its Alpha, and its members is
leathing.
I waited for his response, but only Zeeva’s voice was heard. “Thad, what is going on? What is he saying?”
Sighing, I spoke up, hoping Alpha Marrock could hear me. After the hundred lashes without my wolf, everything about me changed.
“I think you are too shocked to speak but guess what, my beta will send you documents ending all collaborations between the Silent Claw p the northern pack

ended the call and arrived at my pack, overwhelmed with pain. Fortunately, training was over, and Raul had just returned to the pack house with
some warriors.
He screamed when our eyes locked. “Alpha, what happened to you?”
„He quickly rushed to my side, shushing the warriors away as he did not want them to see me in this state.
Then he helped me to my room as I mind–linked the pack doctor before narrating everything to him.
1 could see the darkness of anger in his eyes the moment I ended the narration.
“This means war. ¿
Alpha, we can’t allow them to humiliate us like this.”
We were in sync, but the security of my pup mattered to me. The pregnancy had to be kept a secret, so it would be inappropriate to wait too long.
If not, the pregnancy would begin to show. “Don’t worry. First things first. I can’t communicate with my wolf until I’m fully healed. You have to see Luna Loveur on my behalf to make the wedding arrangements”
Raul smiled, stunning me, but he soon explained why. “I didn’t like her before, but after what Alpha Marrock and his family have done. I will make sure to send invitations across all parks and also announce the calling off of your marriage with Zeeva“
“Go ahead,” I stamped his decision with a painful smile as I gently removed ing clothes. The blood and undershirt had glued together somschow, making the whole process 4 painful one
The doctor came to look at my wounds, but the look in his eyes was not encouraging, so I told Raul to excuse us. He soon returned with news.
