Embry’s POV
I was thrilled to see Lovette happy with Alpha Kodak. They made a beautiful couple, and I hoped their relationship would last, especially with a pup on the way.
I didn’t want them to be single parents after both rejecting their previous partners for the sake of their pup
Whatever was keeping them together now should be strong enough to keep them together after the pup was born.
Together with Kaul and Cassius, we helped Alpha Kash and Luna Kenzie ensure that the after–party went smoothly
Everyone, including Beta Scout, left before us. However, ever since Alpha Kodak’s advice, my wolf was restless.

Luna Kenzie, did you go on patrol?” I asked. She shushed me. “Of course, I went with my mate. As long as we are here, we have to help watch over the pack. Everything is safe for now, so we are going to bed.”
I was amazed by her response and grateful for her presence. Being Alpha Kodak’s parents, they surely would not allow any harm to come near our pack.

When we arrived at the Blue Moon pack, it was the early hours of the morning as we had left our pack around midnight
Warriors were returning from patrol, and as we approached the gate, they welcomed us with a quick glance, indicating that Beta Scout had already announced my arrival to the pack
My nerves eased as I felt confident in my decision and nothing could make me change my mind.

“Welcome, Embry and Beta Cassius. You might want to drive in quickly as our Alpha might be heading to bed. He was on patrol with us tonight,” one of their security warriors said, I was glad for the heads up,
“Thank you,” I replied, wondering why Beta Scout was not mentioned. It seemed that the recognition I was receiving was more due to Lovette than
Beta Scout.
“Can you speed up a bit! I don’t want to miss seeing Beta Scout, I eagerly requested, earning an annoyed look from Cassius. He even dared to yawn in my face, indirectly indicating how irritating I was
“Did you forget the pack rules about the speed limit” he reminded me, and I felt a little embarrassed for overlooking something so important.
As soon as he parked the car, I hurriedly got out before he could fully stop,

“Scout, your mate is here!” Alpha Mason called out as he pushed open one of the doors, presumably Beta Scout’s room
Alpha Mason froze and tried to close the door to keep me from seeing, but it was too late. My heart sank as my hope shattered within me.
I could have overlooked it if we weren’t both aware of being mates, but this was revealed just yesterday and we were both happy about it
It wasn’t just one, but three she wolves in Bea Scout’s bed, even Alpha Mason felt ashamed. Beta Scout was still sleeping soundly, but at least I had a

However, my own anger surpassed his, directed towards Cassius, Beta Raul, Alpha Kodak, and even Lovette.
As soon as we left the pack house, I demanded, “I need to see Lovette.”
“It’s not appropriate, Cassius tried to dissuade me, citing Lovette’s honeymoon, but I persisted. I have to see her. Everyone knew except me.”
Seeking someone to blame, tears streamed down my face. Cassius pulled over, attempting to console me, but I found no solace. Only Lovette could truly comfort me.
I disregarded any sense of selfishness. I needed her, and it wasn’t a real honeymoon anyway. Nothing would transpire between her and Alpla

Upon reaching the Silent Claw Pack, we were allowed in without any protocols, and I was relieved to see Beta Raul there to receive me. I threw myself into his arms.

“Please let me see Lovette,” I said through choked tears. He stared at Cassius and asked, “What happened to her?”
“It’s a case of a cheating mate, Cassius said nonchalantly Something flashed in Beta Raul’s eyes, but it was soon gone as he muttered, “Oh,”
Embry, please give her some time. You know her situation. She needs plenty of rest,” Beta Raul tried to dissuade me from seeing Loverte, but that only made me more determined.

He returned with not only Lovette but also Alpha Kodak. Sering me in distress, Alpha Kodak didn’t seem surprised.
“What happened?” Lovette asked. 1 was upset and wanted to vent, but she embraced me with so much love that I choked back tears.
“My, mate is behaving like an asshole,” I said. I noticed Alpha Kodak’s eyes rolling as he mentioned, “Beta Scout is here.”
