Cyrus paused, momentarily confused, before realizing who Graham meant. He asked, “Simone?”
Graham gave a reluctant nod, his expression stiff and awkward.
“Sumone didn’t want to come, Cyrus said, his voice cooling as he thought of Graham’s attitude toward Simone. He added, “Besides, haven’t you always disliked her? It’s probably better this way. She’s not here to bother you.”
