They thought they were helping Simone in the game, but it turned out she was helping them. Alex, impressed by her incredible skills, got curious and checked her profile.
Her stats were hidden, but what he saw almost made him shour.
Unable to contain his excitement, he pulled Simone over and pointed at her friend Hist. “Simone, do you know the First Maple?” he asked, his voice shaky.
First Maple was the top player at the highest level. The others were shumed when they heard the name and hurried over to see for themselves.
Alex thought. Anyone who’s played Peak Showdown knows First Maple–the number one player on the server. In the gaming community, this person is a legend, adored by many fans”
Alex was definitely one of those fans. His eyes sparkled as he looked at Simone, nearly bursting with excitement. After what felt like forever. Simone finally nodded and said, “Yeah.”
Alex looked at her, ready to ask more questions, but Simone casually dropped the bomb: “That’s me.””
What Alex thought he must’ve misheard. He asked again, “Wait, are you saying you’re First Maple?”
“Yep, Simone confirmed with a nod. As she spoke, she logged into her other account on the computer, proving her point
The group stared ΠΕ Simone, completely shocked.
“Simone, is there anything you’re not good at! Top of the class, fastest runner, and now a gaming legend?” Finn looked at Simone in awe, feeling like he was meeting a superstar for the first time.
Alex said, “You have to give me your autograph. I’m going to post it online and brag about meeting my idol
Alex was totally obsessed with First Maple. Every day, he watched videos of her playing with others.
When Alex started hanging close to Simone, Quinn rolled his eyes and shoved him aside. “Stay away from Simone!” Quinn suddenly felt protective when Simone caught everyone’s attention.
“She’s our star!” Alex shot back.
Quinn quickly moved in front of Simone, shielding her. He glared at Alex like he was protecting some treasure. “She’s my sister.
Simone shook her head, amused. “You two are so childish”
Quinn smirked, “He’s the childish one!”
Alex shot back. “No way, that’s you!”
“Alright, gaming’s over. Tine to study with me,” Simone said, her tone firm.
“Whatever you say,” Quinn replied, sounding okay with it.
Samone turned to the others and raised an eyebrow. “That goes for you guys too.”
Excited to be with his idol, Alex immediately agreed. With everyone else following, Finn and Timothy had no choice but to nod along.

Most of the students there had been given up on by their families and felt hopeless. They hadn’t paid attention in class since their first year, so Simone went back to the basics to help them catch up.
Even though the group focused on humanities and Simone was good at sciences, she handled the material easily.
At first, they thought it wouldn’t help much. But twenty nunutes in, they were shocked–they actually understood it.
By the end of the session, their minds buzzed with new knowledge, feeling fullled for the first time in ages.
The next day. Claire heard that Simone was tutoring and eagerly asked to join. Her freshman–year foundation wasn’t great either, and Sunone happily agreed
That afternoon, when they reached the Sogin Vocational High School, Claire learned from the group that they were all humanities students.

“Wait, seriously? Claire’s eyes widened in surprise.
Finn quickly said, “We really are humanities students, no joke!”
Chire wasn’t doubting them but explained, “That’s not the point. The surprise is that Simone’s a science student.”
“What? Simone’s a science shident?”
“But didn’t she teach us history yesterday!”
“Yeah, and she was really good at 11o
“Maybe it’s because she taught freshman–level material, Claire speculated
The group nodded, thinking her explanation made seme.
Just then, Simone returned from the restroom and overheard the conversation. Curious, she casually asked, “What are you guys talking about?””
“Simone, we just found out you’re a science student,” Finn said.
“Yeah, I am.” Simone replied with a nod, not thinking much of it. Assuming they were worried about her teaching ability, she reassured them, I’ve already self–studied all the humanities courses up to senior year. Teaching you guys is no problem at all”
Quinn stared at Simone, completely stunned.
Claire was just as shocked, but when she remembered Simone’s near perfect grades, everything started to make sense.
Quinn slowly accepted the news. After all, they had already seen Strmone’s incredibly impressive skills in many areas, so this wasn’t so surprising
anymore.
Claire asked, “Simone, you’ve mastered all the humanities subjects. Why did you prefer science? Physics and chemistry are tough! If it were me, I’d
stick to humanities for sure”
Simone thought for a moment and then replied, “I guess it’s because humanaies don’t really challenge me. Science feels more exciting.”
Alex thought, “The stuff we struggle with, Simone feels easy. She’s a genius for sure!
Maybe Simone’s words motivated them, they didn’t even take a break when they could have, just kept pushing through. For the next few days, they stayed in this focused study inood.
Simone said. “Guys, take a break! You need to find a balance between study and rest
Quinn looked at Simone, her brilliance filling him with energy. “I need to work hard to be good enough to stand next to you.”
Claire aid, “Simone, I’ve decided–my new goal is to make it into the top fifty for grades”
Finn tightened his fists, determination shining in his eyes. “This time, I’m really changing the game!
Alex smiled wide, his competitive nature fired up. “If my idol is studying this hard, I have to do so!”
