It wasn’t until Simone walked over to her side that Sophia snapped out of her daze.
Over the years, after marrying into the Miller family, no one from the Irwin family had ever stood up for her. And now, it was her seventeen–year- old niece who had fearlessly come to her defense.
Revalling how Simone had fought so fiercely to protect her, Sophia was so moved.
By this time. Aria and Natalie had already helped him to his feet.
“Who are you, barging into our house and causing a scene?” Aria’s face darkened, her aged voice trembling with suppressed anger.
Sophia stepped forward, shielding Simone from Aria’s glare. His voice was cold and firm. “She’s my niece, Simone”
