Nevertheless, the comments section was abuzz: Oh my God. So Chloe seduced Ryan, then had him threaten Jennifer into setting пра late–night meeting with Gabrielle? Were they planning to kill her by the ocean?
That’s terrifying! I knew something felt off during that livestream last night, but I thought it was all staged, I didn’t realize it was real.
if hats the matter. Team & fans! The cops are here. Don’t go quiet now. Weren’t you all the loudest when things started?
Gabrielle’s a genius. It was like she had everything under control!
I’m totally hooked! Please, Gabrielle, start your own account. I need to be your number one supporter!
Am I the only one toho thought Team B was so relatable? After dealing with everything, they just went to eat like regular folks. They’re just a bunch of foodies.
Someone take me to Seavers Group I want to ask if every employee gets that kind of accident insurance. Who wants to join met Bring some (rotten eggs while you’re at it.
People online lost it. Crowds gathered outside Seavers Group’s headquarters.
For days, no one dared go in or out. All the company’s deals started to fall apart. Rivals in the industry were reveling in Seavers Group’s downfall, and some even added fuel to the fire.
Inside Inferno Grill, a barbecue restaurant, the four of them were scrolling through their phones after dinner.
Jennifer stared at the screen, stunned. “Wait… they streamed everything? Everything except us going to the bathroom or taking showers and sleeping?”
“Who would’ve guessed there were hidden cameras?” Nadia mumbled.
This kind of setup was beyond anything they’d seen before.
Brendan was flipping through his phone, too. After a moment, he said, “Looks like the Seavers family will have a hard time recovering from this one.”
“Gabby, be honest,” Nadia said. “What’s your relationship with Chiboe and Benjamin?”
Seeing the two of them ganging up on Gabrielle, the situation felt more personal than a simple revenge.
Gabrielle took a sip of her drink and smiled. Tm the real daughter of the Seavers family. Benjamin is my third brother by blood. As for Chloe, my parents adopted her after they abandoned me. She probably thinks I’m here to take her place, so…
The revelation left everyone speechless.
“You’re telling me they targeted you because of that? They even bought an accident policy worth how much? And everything that happened last night was all a scheme?” Nadia nearly choked.
“If I died, the payout would’ve been two hundred million. Tempting, right?” Gabrielle sail, grinning as she got up. She went to pay the bill, only to find that Brendan had already taken care of it. “I’ll head off now. Let’s meet again when you’ve got time, Gabrielle said with a casual wave.
“Will you be back for the variety show in four days?” Nadia asked hopefully. She’d really grown to like Gabrielle.
“Of course I’ll be there. My contract with Seavers Group ends after the show wraps. I can’t quit early, I’d owe them money,” Gabrielle joked, waving as she walked away.
The others watched her go, then stepped outside to wait for the company car.
Jennifer was about to call a taxi when Nadia turned to her. “Come on, I’ll drop you off.”
Jennifer hesitated, but Nadia added, “If the people from your company see you with me, they’ll think twice before messing with you. Look over your contract. If you can get out of it, do it.”

herself.
As she reflected, she thought about the fortune–telling Gabrielle had done for her. “Gabrielle’s impressive,” Jennifer murmured. “She hinted that if I helped Ryan, it’d ruin me
“So she knew in advance, Jennifer said, full of admiration.
It felt like she’d found some sort of guardian angel during her time on the variety show.
At the hospital, after Chloe gave her statement, the case was still murky. Even though there were hidden cameras set up on the island, the evidence wasn’t solid. She was just a suspect, and no one could prove she truly intended to kill someone.
On top of that, she’d been poisoned and had collapsed, which was why she’d been rushed to the hospital.
She had just regained consciousness when her phone started vibrating nonstop. The noise roused her from her sleep. Still groggy, she grabbed the phone, glanced at the screen, and saw she was trending all over the internet.
“Wait… am Lactually trending right now?” Chloe mumbled, a little confused.
Benjamin had taken her phone before, so she’d been completely cut off from what was going on online. The moment she tapped open the app, she realized her entire feed was flooded with clips of her. Curious, she opened TikTok, only to see a flood of unflattering snapshots of herself in every possible expression
“What the… how did this stuff from midnight even get aired? Wasn’t the production team off duty then?” Chloe was stunned. As she scrolled through the trending posts, her vision started to blur, and the next second, she passed out cold.
She had hoped to become an overnight sensation from this show. And sure, she became well–known–just not the way she’d hoped. Instead of rising to stardom, she became a pariah. Netizens dragged her, calling her fake and promiscuous, a two- faced b*tch.
“Chloe, Felix called out, pushing the door open and walking in–only to find her unconscious.
He hurried over, and when he saw the headlines on her phone screen, he exploded. “Didn’t I tell you to take her phone away? Why did you let her see this stuff?”
–
Benjamin was already feeling like crap–his whole body aching so he wasn’t expecting to be yelled at the moment his brother walked in
He stood there, stunned. He’d been poisoned too, just like Chloe, but while she got to lie in a hospital bed, he’d been dragged off for questioning after getting an injection. They’d almost gotten physical with him.
“What was I supposed to do? She kept asking for her phone! And let’s not forget, if she hadn’t stirred things up and lured Ryan into setting up and killing Gabrielle, she might not have been in this mess. I told her to just bear with it for a bit. But no, she had to stir up drama. So how is this my fault? Benjamin snapped, all the frustration he’d been bottling up suddenly erupting.
He was shaking with rage, throwing Felix a look of fury before turning and walking away.
Felix shouted after him. “Giving me attitude now, huh? Have you looked at the mess you’ve caused? Your sister’s name is in the gutter, and thanks to one variety show, our entire company is hanging by a thread!”
Benjamin had barely taken a few steps before he turned back, his face full of disbelief. “What did you just say?”
Felix tossed his phone onto the table, Jeaned back in his chair, and rubbed his temples. “There’s a mob outside the company. throwing eggs nonstop. All our scheduled deals got cancelled. And because of that, every collaboration involving Seavers Group artists was pulled too. Which means, every single artist under the Seavers name is now unemployed.
