He was merely speculating, thinking it was too much of a coincidence.
“Mr. Zechman.” At that moment, Charles entered with the CT scans after knocking on the door. He strode forward somewhat excitedly, offering up the documents.
“Mrs. Zechman is incredibly skilled,” Charles said softly. “After taking the medicine she prescribed me twice, my kidney stones were shattered, and I’ve nearly passed them all out.”
At this rate, if he were to go to the hospital, he would have to be admitted first. Then, he would undergo various tests, waiting for a surgery slot to be scheduled. Even after all that, he would still need to stay in the hospital for observation.
However, Gabrielle had dealt with his condition with just two bowls of medicine.
“What? Gabrielle’s medical skills are amazing? Jonathan, when she returns from filming her variety show, could you ask her if she’d like to work at my hospital? I’d even assign her the role of hospital director. What do you think?” Michael asked excitedly.
He had to go back and discuss this matter with the old man at home.
Since Gabrielie was a prodigy in the medical field, he felt it necessary to recruit her.

Upon hearing this, Michael felt somewhat intimidated.
An image surfaced in his mind, one of Cabrielle wielding a dagger, killing a wild boar with a single stab, and then. nonchalantly kicking it away. A chill ran down his spine at the thought.
“Cough, cough, I’ll discuss this with the old man first,” Michael said with a sardonic chuckle.
Previously, he had been eager to approach Gabrielle with questions about medicine. However, after watching the variety show, he found himself filled with fear and trepidation.

“From now on, whatever she needs, just do as she says. If I’m not around, she’s in charge,” Jonathan told Charles.
Charles repeatedly nodded, clearly having become Gabrielle’s number one fan.
“Understood, I’ll head out then,” said Charles. “Mrs. Zechman has just descended the stairs. I wonder if she’s looking for a meal” With that, he picked up the CT scans and quickly made his way outside.
Upon hearing the mention of meals, Jonathan raised his wrist and glanced at the time.

However, a curious glint flashed in Michael’s eyes.
“Why does it have to be under my name?” asked Michael.
Jonathan was ready to leave, but after only a few steps, he couldn’t help but look back at Michael.

“Do you really think the Seavers family would dare to bid for a Zechman Group project?” Jonathan responded, his brow furrowed.
Michael touched his nose, chuckling softly as he said, “You have a point. No one would dare compete for Zechman Group’s land or projects, nor is there a need to. But are you sure there’s someone behind the Seavers family?”
Jonathan strode outward, speaking as he walked. “Half a year ago, I brought Gabrielle back home and kept her tied at home, just to wait for the Zechman family to bring up the matter of bringing luck to the family and to send her over.”
“Does the lowly Seavers family really dare to harbor such grand ambitions? There aren’t many who would dare to have designs on the Zechman family!”
Seavers Group is currently under so much pressure that they can’t fight back,” Jonathan said in a hoarse voice. “Yet, the members of Seavers family don’t seem too worried. What does that tell you? They must have a backup plan.”
Clearly, there was more to the Seavers family than met the eye.
He could tell that they had started scheming a long time ago.
“You know what doesn’t make sense? If the Seavers family is so ambitious, why didn’t they let their precious daughter marry into your family? Why insist on sending someone they don’t even want?” Michael stroked his chin as he wondered out loud.
“They were testing the boundaries of the Zechman family and also waiting to see when I would meet my end,” Jonathan stated before he opened the door and walked out.
Michael stood there, turning his head to exchange a glance with Keiran.
“I’ll transfer the ownership of the land in East Droever to your name shortly,” Keiran said, picking up his iPad as he walked

Michael followed quickly behind. As they descended the stairs, he saw Gabrielle sitting on the couch, flipping through magazine.
Michael felt a bit nervous as he stepped forward to greet her, “Ahem, hello, Gabrielle.”
The typically nonchalant young scion, in the presence of Gabrielle, became surprisingly timid.
From the moment he was born, there had never been a moment when he was as scared as he was right then.
“And you are?” Gabrielle lifted her gaze, casting him a glance.
Upon catching sight of his enchanting face, she couldn’t help but take a second look, her gaze pensive.
A shiver ran down Michael’s spine, leaving him with a chilling sensation in his back.
“My name is Michael Lefevre, a close friend of Jonathan, My family has been in the medical profession for generations, and 1 was previously in charge of his medical condition, I’ve heard that your medical skills surpass mine, and I hope that in the future, you could share some of your insights,” Michael said to her with utmost respect.
His hands were ceaselessly rubbing against each other, drenched in sweat due to his anxiety.
“Mmm–hmm,” Gabrielle responded in a low voice.
Shen then lowered her head back toward the magazine, a gesture that caused Michael to catch his breath.
“Alright, I won’t interrupt your reading anymore, Gabrielle. I’ll take my leave now. We’ll catch up when you’re free,” Michael said. With that, he hastily made his way out, nearly losing a shoe in the process.

Seeing how tense Michael was, with cold sweat constantly seeping from his forehead and a flicker in his eyes, she felt an unsettling vibe, one that left her perplexed.
“He has probably never seen a woman before,” Jonathan said in a hoarse voice.
Gabrielle was simply left speechless.
She suspected that he was merely humoring her, yet she had no evidence.
“Mr. Zechman, Mrs. Zechman, dinner is ready,” said Charles. Although his expression was serious, it wasn’t hard to see the amusement twinkling in his eyes. He stepped forward with respect as he addressed them.
In response, Jonathan gestured toward Gabrielle, saying, “Let’s eat first.”
Gabrielle set aside her magazine and stood up, heading toward the dining room. The housekeepers brought forth a spread of dishes, all of which were evidently her favorites.
“Did I hear you mention before that your grandfather suddenly broke his leg?” Gabrielle suddenly asked.
After she took a seat, a housekeeper stepped forward to serve her a bowl of soup
“Indeed, he was worried that when you married into our family, the housekeepers might not treat you well. So, he wanted to come and support you but fell and broke his leg while rushing out,” Jonathan said in a low voice.
Gabrielle was gnawing on a rib, nearly choking on it.
