Chapter 34 Rescuing Her
closed just in time as he caught a glimpse of Jennifer’s distorted face as she charged toward him.
“Lunatics! A bunch of lunatics!” Frightened, Caleb leaned against the elevator.

He felt as though he had narrowly escaped a catastrophe, a sense of bewilderment clouding his features. The words recently spoken by Gabrielle echoed incessantly in his mind, casting a veil of confusion in his eyes.
“How could this have happened? How on earth did Gabrielle find out I installed a tracker on her phone? When did she become so skilled: Has she discovered something? That’s impossible. I made sure to hide it well. There’s no way she could have known. She must be bluffing! She’s trying to ruin me and force me into submission. She’s worried that the Seavers family doesn’t value her. If they were to discard her, she would be left unwanted. Thus, she wants to ruin me, bring me down. and possess me! It must be so. Other than this, she couldn’t possibly know more. Gabrielle, you deceitful wretch! How dare you trick me!” Caleb uttered through his clenched teeth.
The pain on his face, his body, and his back made it difficult for him to stand upright. In a state of disarray, he hastily put on a mask and quickly exited the hotel.
After settling into the car, he pulled out a cigarette and lit it, drawing in a harsh puff.
The number you’ve dialed is currently switched off” Upon hearing the shutdown tone on the other end of the line, Caleb was so infuriated that he tossed his phone aside, gripping the steering wheel tightly with force, Chlor has turned off her phone!
The scandal involving Seavers Group had been the talk of the town lately. It was a challenging time for them. If he were to step up and lend a hand to Seavers Group, it might be possible for him to take over the Seavers family in the future.
After all, his ambitions didn’t lie in the entertainment industry. His previous attempts to break into the industry were solely to network with wealthier individuals. He intended to use those connections and resources for his own benefit. Once he’d turned things around, he planned to strike back at Lefevre Group and reclaim everything he’d lost.
At that moment, however, the pressure from the Lefevre family had left him gasping for breath. Caleb knew he needed a strong backing. Now, the Seavers family is my best choice.
With that in mind, he drove toward the hospital.
Meanwhile, back in the suite, Gabrielle had her arms folded across her chest, and she turned her head to glance at Nadia. She couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle.
“See that? Her aggression is quite impressive.” Gabrielle stated.
Nadia was taken aback for a moment, her mind racing. After a while, she finally processed the situation and said, “So, did you bring us out tonight for a late–night snack in a room just to let her vent?”
“Did you intentionally lure Caleb over here to indirectly inform her about the phone tracking?” Nadia asked in disbelief
Dotingly, Gabrielle lightly poked her fair forehead and asked in a hushed tone, “What else would it be?”
She had been hurt by a worthless man, leading to her developing severe depression. Ultimately, she was driven to her demise by her own family.
As a woman, she didn’t want Jennifer to follow in her own footsteps.
“Don’t be fooled by her current demeanor, Gabrielle said. “In reality, she’s likely somewhat depressed. If she doesn’t let it out and keeps it bottled up for too long, it’s bound to lead to trouble.”
She wasn’t a saint, but Jennifer had every right to be informed about everything
Placing too much blind faith in men could lead to an unsightly downfall.
“Gabrielle” Jennifer walked in from outside, having heard everything Gabrielle had just said. At that

Gabrielle remained silent, letting Jennifer hold her.
Only after Tennifer had nearly cried herself out did Gabrielle nat her on the head, saving. “Don’t be too quick to blindly trust

“After he was caught this time. I stopped thinking about him. Yet, deep down, there was a sense of reluctance, almost bordering on martyrdom I never anticipated that he orchestrated all the troubles I had faced. However, it’s been six months now and I don’t have any evidence. Otherwise, I would sue him.” Jennifer said, her voice tinged with a touch of agitation.
Gabrielle guided her to sit on the couch, her legs crossed as she leaned back. She grabbed a pillow to support her back and said. “I just want to tell you that you shouldn’t lose yourself over a man. Life is short, and you should live for yourself.”
