Those words left Jennifer stunned and Nadia equally taken aback. They couldn’t believe what they had just heard and turned to Gabrielle. They both asked in unison, “Are you starting a company?”
“Yes. Starting up a metaphysical entertainment agency! We could sign artists and even offer fortune–telling services,” Gabrielle said with a soft chuckle.
Nadia stood there, dumbfounded. It took her a moment before she said, “Metaphysical entertainment agency? Fortune- telling? That works! A lot of people around me believe in these things, and even more in the industry are into geomancy”
“Once the company is up and running, my grandfather will be the first one I introduce to you! He’s always seeking fortune tellers to ask if there’s something wrong with the geomancy at home and why I don’t have a man in my life,” Nadia added.
She then gave Gabrielle a quick blink, lowering her voice to propose, “When the time comes, you could charge a bit more. We could split it fifty–fifty. What do you think?”
“Haha! I think that works,” Gabrielle responded in agreement.
Nadia hopped off the couch, reaching for the red wine that was set aside. After pouring three glasses, she held hers up and. declared. “All right. Let’s get the metaphysical entertainment agency started.”
Jennifer also stepped forward, holding her drink and saying, “Let’s get it started”
That night, within the hotel suite, cheers echoed continuously. Three women, barefoot and carefree, danced on the plushi carpet while enjoying their drinks and savoring skewers.
