As the team walked out of the testing agency, their expressions had completely changed.
Only Yehuda remained relatively calm, as though he had anticipated this outcome.
Noticing that his team wasn’t interested in driving, he took the seat behind the wheel himself. “Let’s go. Back to the office”
“Yehuda, did you already know?” One of the team members couldn’t help but ask as they drove back.
“I had an inkling.” Yehuda admitted, not hiding the fact.
Now it was confirmed–the information used to file the report had been false, and the person who filed the complaint was going to face penalties.
Layne, who had filed the report, didn’t have all the facts and had made a wrongful accusation. After the investigation clarified the situation, a special team would provide him with some “education.”
On the way to the coffee meeting with the government officials, Layne had a bad feeling.
When he heard that the investigation team had confirmed Seawise Pavilion’s pricing was legitimate and that no illegal activities had taken place, Layne was dumbfounded.
His first reaction was disbelief: “How could grapes really be sold for that much? This is outrageous! I need to see the evidence!”
Yehuda had someone send him the evidence–video footage from the testing center, expert opinions, and all the necessary proof, neatly organized.
After reviewing everything, Layne was left speechless, sitting silently in his chair.
He was given a thorough education” for the entire afternoon before he groggily made his way back to his shop.
The apprentices waiting for his good news rushed up to him as soon as he arrived, bombarding him with questions.
“So, what did they say?”
“Did Seawise Pavilion get fined? How much?”
“I’ve already prepared a post. We’ll hit them hard with it.”
When Layne heard about the post, he finally reacted, waving his apprentices off.
“Don’t post, don’t post!” Layne said, his voice filled with agitation.
“Don’t post it? What’s wrong with you?” The apprentices were shocked and immediately asked.
Layne shook his head, sitting down as though he had lost all strength.
His voice became weak as he explained, “Seawise Pavilion didn’t have any problems. After the investigation, the grapes they sold really are worth 100 thousand dollars. There’s no validity to what we reported.”
“What?”
“Layne, you’re joking, right?”
“100 thousand dollars? How is that possible?”

The apprentices shocked voices echoed around him. Layne felt utterly exhausted. He waved his hands, dismissing them. He needed peace and quiet
As the apprentices filed out, they pulled out their phones and discovered that Seawite Pavilion had just shared a post from the price bureau
Because this issue had blown up online and caused a lot of discussion, it had seriously damaged Seawise Pavilion’s
reputation
So after the investigation was concluded, they had to clarify the facts within the public’s view to counter the negative impact.
The post was immediately shared by Seawise Pavilion’s staff.
It was during rush hour, with lots of people walking around.

And another point–despite the grapes being priced at 100 thousand dollars per bunch, the 20–dollar steamed grape cake had earned them a lot of goodwill.

Seawise Pavilion was ready to launch more grape products, and as usual, there was a long line outside.
Grady, pleased with the turn of events, immediately contacted Richard and ordered two more fresh bunches of grapes.
Meanwhile, at the Adler family, Richard was in the orchard, going through the accounts.
It wasn’t an illusion–just three days had passed, and he had already sold over a dozen bunches. Yvonne’s bank account had received over five million dollars in deposits.
He received word from his staff that people were still calling to place orders.
Richard quickly contacted the orchard to ask about the remaining stock of grapes.
He learned that all the purple ones had been pre–ordered and there were none left.
He felt a little dazed and asked someone to bring him the ledger from when the orchard was first set up,
If things kept going like this, once the grapes from this vine were sold, he’d be able to break even.
It was an unexpected but pleasant surprise..

The orchard had carefully packaged the grapes, and they were ready to be delivered to the buyers.
Most of the orders were local to Strate City, and many people were purchasing two or three bunches at once.
These customers had bought before the clarification post was released and had no idea that the grapes were being sold by the Adler and Holmes families.
They had purchased out of a desire to make their presence known, hoping to gain favor and goodwill from both families.
