I’m about to walk back into my room when Carla’s scent hits me. I immediately turn around and see her in an extravagant dress, walking up to me.

I’m in a fitted, flowing red dress that exposes my entire back. My hair is decorated with pearls and in a bun with two locks of my blonde hair dangling down both sides of my face. I take a deep breath with my head held up as I walk further into the hall and sit at one of the tables in front. There are some people at the table, but I pay no mind to them as they are not relevant to me. I hear murmurs in the hall and I smile in satisfaction
I look and feel like an absolute diva, and I love it! Aiden never wanted me wearing makeup or revealing clothes, and I broke those rules tonight. I’m an alluring temptress and not even Carla who is supposed to be the star of this party can compete with
Took over at Carla who’s only two tables away from me, and find that she’s glaring at me, and Aiden, on the other hand, is gawking at me with his mouth agape. I wink at Carla, and when I look to Aiden’s side, there he is… Ace.
He has no expression on his face, but his silver eyes are boring holes into me.
We’re in public, so he has that emotionless mask on again, but I know the chaos I have caused in his mind behind that mask Especially since I’m still with his pendant. I’ll be hard for him to keep away from me now,

The boring party continues and people discuss and eat at their different tables and all through the party, I can feel their eyes on me. Aiden, Ace, and Carla.

I stand up with her holding on to one of my fingers, and I lead her to the back of the hall, as eyes trail my every move. I lead her to the tables of drinks at the back and order a maid to take as many drinks as Emily wants back to the children section. As they leave, Carla comes to stand beside

It irritates me that people think that everything I do is for Aiden. However, I can’t blame them, though. That accusation used to be true with the old Celine. Everything single thing she did was for Aiden. But not this time. Not with this Celine.

I smile at her as I drop the empty cup on the table and turn away from her.
Despite all the eyes on me, I make my way through the crowded hall, and to Ace who is standing idly in a corner of the dance
floor.
“May I have this dance?” I say to him with my voice laced with a seductive allure that Arila sponsored.
I allow Arila’s play on my voice to weave its way into his mind, and speak directly to his wolf. He won’t be able to hold back. I know that because I’m letting Arila take advantage of the mate pull and compel his wolf.
“Or should I ask another man?” I add, teasing him, and almost instantly, he grabs my–hand. His eyes are filled with both possessiveness and longing.
“This isn’t fair, Celine.” He whispers as he pulls me to his chest, and his touch sends electric waves through my body. I nestle closer to him and enjoy the feeling of warmth and power that emanates from him.
“No. You trying to deny your love for me is what’s unfair,” I say softly, and he sighs as he places a hand on my waist.
I listen to his heart beat against my car, and I close my eyes. This is the safest I have felt in a very long time. I like this feeling. I could get used to it
We sway effortlessly through the dance hall, and the serenity of the night and the cool weather make it all the more magical.
As we dance, my gaze drifts towards Aiden, who now resembles a ripe tomato. His face is flushed with a mix of embarrassment and jealousy, and it makes me smirk. My plan is working-

The music wraps around Ace and I, enveloping our dance in a swirling rhythm, and I watch as Aiden’s eyes never leaves us. I
