Chapter 100
When it came to the race, the onlookers weren’t particularly excited. Since Philip wasn’t planning to compete against the two beauties, they thought the race was bound to be a snooze–fest
They knew Cheryl was pretty good at racing. And they were aware that Zoe often used underhanded tactics to win. No one was quite sure if Zoe’s skills were real or just hype.
Either way, a race between two women wasn’t exactly thrilling to the crowd.
Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, the three sports cars revved their engines. The buzzing motors seemed to have a special kind of magic, electrifying the entire scene.
Not just the students from the honors class, but even passersby on Twilight Ridge gathered around, thinking some big event was about to happen.
As the referee’s gun went off with a bang, the three sports cars shot forward in unison.
Philip’s bright red Ferrari took the lead in an instant, speeding off like a gust of wind. He was the epitome of a trailblazer, leading the pack with case. No one was surprised by this.
Cheryl’s driving skills were decent, too. Right after the start, her black Maybach chung tightly to Philip’s Ferrari, in hot pursuit. Her determination contrasted sharply with Philip’s effortless lead. She was clearly taking it seriously this time.
One student in the crowd got super excited. He shouted, “This start is just amazing Philip and Cheryl are the best amateur racers in our class. Watching them race, even just for a second, gets the blood pumping”
Another student pointed to the back and shouted, “Everyone, look at the last one! Over there”
At the back was Zoe’s blue Lamborghini, which had just barely started moving Compared to the all–out sprint of Philip and Cheryl, Zoe’s car was still idling-
Any decent driver w
wouldn’t be idling during a race.
One student said, “Zoe is just too funny! She confidently accepted Cheryl’s challenge, saying she was a pro at racing. But it lo
looks like she don’t even know how to drive. Her start is so slow. And she calls that racing?”
Another person shouted. “Zoe, you should just go home and play Mario Kart. That’s more your speed.”
The scene erupted in waves of laughter, all at Zoe’s expense.
Eunice couldn’t help but mutter, “Guys, stop making fun of Zoe. She just got back from a small town. Just getting in the car and driving takes courage.”
Her words only fueled the crowd’s teasing. One student shouted, “Eunice, you’re right. Zoe has nothing left but courage.”
“Hey, beautiful, are you running out of gas! Need me to give you a push?” someone the yelled towards Zoe’s car.
After the initial mockery, the crowd lost interest in Zoe’s race and shifted their attention to the monitors displaying the race.
The Twilight Ridge track started at the beginning, passed the audience, wound up the mountain to the peak, and then came back down the other side to the finish line.
In other words, there were many parts of the race on the monitors.
e du the audience couldn’t see. That was why there were cimeras on the mountain to show the
However, with all the twists and turas, there were still many blind spots that the cameras couldn’t cover
One said, “Everyone, look! Phillip has already rounded the first corner and is on the first monitor. He’s so fast, and Cheryl is keeping up with him. That’s amazing! So cool!”
Another chimed in, Witching Philip and Cheryl race makes me feel like I’m witnessing the legendary Fox tearing up the track. They’re truly living up to being For’s fans Their driving has a fraction of Fox’s flair
Someone sighed and said, “It would be amazing if the real Fox could come and let us watch her race just once,”
The crowd couldn’t help but sigh in admiration. Their eyes were glued to Philips and Cheryl. As for Zoe, who was trailing behind, they didn’t even bother to glance at her.
The race was now in its final stages. Just a few more corners, and it would be a sprint to the finish.
Philip, sticking to his principle of just accompanying the race, had slowed down his speed, letting Cheryl take the temporary lead while he followed

closely behind.
Cheryl, driving the black b
Maybach, hadn’t seen a trace of Zoe’s car in her rearview mirror or beside her since the start.
She was about to enter the final stretch when she thought to herself, ‘Can’t even keep up with our cars, and she thinks she can compete with us? What a joke!
Cheryl let out a smug laugh and stepped on

gas to pull ahead.
The next moment, both Cheryl and Philip suddenly saw, through their rearview mirrors, a blue Lamborghini coming around the next bend at an incredible speed
It was like a cheetah on the hunt. The speed was terrifying, as if it could catch up in the blink of an eye
It was Zoe’s car. The terrifying, jaw–dropping speed made Cheryl widen her eyes in disbelief.
“Impossible!” Cheryl screamed, slapping the steering wheel. But she still stamped on the gas pedal.
Cheryl thought, ‘Impossible! How could this be? At the starting line, I saw Zoe’s car moving as slowly as a snail. Philip and I have been flooring it the whole time, pulling ahead.
Zoe isn’t the legendary Fox. How could she possibly catch up?”
Philip, in his bright red Ferrari, was also shocked. But in that brief moment of surprise, the blue Lamborghini zipped past him, heading towards the front. The speed and the sheer audacity of it gave Philip goosebumps,
Philip could clearly see Zoe in the driver’s seat of the blue Lamborghini. Her lips curved into a smug smile as if she had her prey in the palm of her hand, confident and in total control
Philip was stunned for a moment. And in just that moment, Zoe’s blue Lamborghini had already caught up to Cheryl’s black Maybach, only a few steps away from overtaking and taking the lead.
At the same time, the three sports cars had entered a one–kilometer–long blind spot in the monitors. It was a seckout the audience couldn’t see. It was also the final hill race. Once they cleared this blind spot, they would enter the last sprint zone.
The designers of the racetrack had intentionally created this blind spot to keep the audience on the edge of their seats, wondering who was in the lead, and to build up the excitement when the first car emerged from the blind spot
No one knew that in this blind spot, Zoe’s blue Lamborghini was already hot on Cheryl’s tail, with a real chance of overtaking.
The exit from the blind spot was just ahead. Directly in front was the final corner, known as the Seventh Ring Road
1
This Seventh Ring Road was the most treacherous part of the entire track. Countless racers had made mistakes here, flipping their cars down the hill, never to be seen again.
With its growing reputation, the Seventh Ring Road h
had earned a nickname: Death Corner.
Even professional racers had to slow down here. But to Cheryl and Philip’s horror, Zoe way flooring it.
Cheryl and Philip thought with disbelief, Faced with the Death Corner, Zoe is stepping on the gas. Is she crazy?
