Chapter 115
With a screech, the moment the race kicked off, Charlie and Mark’s cars shot forward, showing off some seriously impressive driving skills as they surged ahead.
They slammed on the gas and whipped the steering wheels, pulling off one slick move after another around the circular track. In no time, Zoe’s car was left trailing way behind.
The crowd went wild, bursting into cheers. They shouted, “Yeah! Go, Charlier
Right out of the gate. Zoe got hit with a harsh wake–up call. Unlike the mountain tracks at Twilight Ridge, where one could start slow and make up ground on the long straightaways, this was a circular racetrack.
It had nothing but turns, just looping around and around. Here, if one didn’t gun it from the start and grab the lead, one’s chances of catching up were zero. The further back one was, the slimmer one’s shot at winning
Zoe fell behind right from the beginning, and her chances of overtaking later were almost nonexistent.
Watching Zoe’s performance in his rearview mirror, Charlie couldn’t help but shake his head. He thought. She is trying to show off. I thought she had some real skills, but I guess that’s all there is to it” The disappointment hit him hard.
In the stands, Henry and a few of the higher–ups were all glued to the track, eyes fixed straight ahead.
Someone muttered Honestly, I don’t buy that Zoe is Fox Are we seriously waiting for her to overtake Charlie? She probably can’t even catch up to

Henry shot him a frosty look and said, “What’s the rush The race just started
From lap one to lap live, Zoe’s car had already fallen way behind Charlie and Mark. By the fifth lap, she was a whole lap behind both of them.
No matter how hard she pushed, there was just no way she could keep up with Charlie and Mark up front.
Meanwhile, Charlie and Mark were locked in a tight battle, swapping the lead back and forth. The other racers watching couldn’t help but gasp in amazement, hearts pounding,
Nobody was paying Zoe any attention anymore, especially after she fell a whole lap behind right after the race started. Everyone was confirmed that she was going to lose.
the rac
race went on, it was Charlie and Mark who were duking it out, both laser–focused on each other. Nobody even spared Zoe a glance.
It wasn’t long before Charlie and Mark started their eighth lap, while Zoe was just beginning her seventh
Suddenly, someone in the crowd cried out in shock, “Am I seeing things, or is Zoe’s car going faster!”
Another replied. “No, you’re not imagining it. She is picking up speed!”
One laughed and said, “Come on, what’s the point? She already went all out before and sill ended up a whole lap behind.
“Even if she speeds
is up now, by the time she finishes, Charlie and Mark could’ve finished a bottle of water and taken a hot shower!”
Everyone knew the cars had speed limits, and Charlie and Mark were already pushing theirs to the max. With Zde a full lap behind, everyone thought there was no way she could win just by going faster.
All of a sudden, the crowd erupted. One exclaimed, “Look! That’s the legendary 2–move in racing!”
Someone said, “No, wait, that’s the 5–move! That’s even harder than the Zi
Another said, “No, it is Z–move”
One shouted, “You’re all wrong! Look, she’s hugging the inside line, flying through the corner!”
Someone chimed in, “She’s using the inside to cut the distance. Oh my god, in just one lap, slar’s already closing in on Mark in second place!”
The crowd erupted like an inferno, bursting out in breathless gasps one after another.
Zoe had used the inside line at the bend, keeping her speed up for a whole lap, and now she was about to catch up to Mark, who was running second. The onlookers found it unbelievable.
Before anyone could react, Zoe’s car swept past Mark with a featherlight move, leaving Mark in the dust. The whole crowd was left wide–eyed and speechless by the thunderous scene…

One muttered, “Mark is on lap nine, Yet Zoe, who was a whole lap behind, just overtook him on the inside!”
Someone said, “Mark is one of the best drivers in our club.”
Another exclaimed, “Oh my god! Look! Quick, look!”
Everyone thought the last move was already shocking enough, but what happened next shattered their faith and completely blew their minds.
On the final lap, in the all–or–nothing sprint to the finish, Zoe’s car was glued right to Charlie’s bumper. Both drivers floored it, and Charlie pushed his speed to the absolute limit.
In no time, they were at the last two comers, the final overtaking spots. The finish line was just ahead. All eyes were fixed on the track as they wondered whether Zoe still had a chance to overtake.
As the two cars harreled into the final comer, both executed a lightning–East 180–degree drift.
In the middle of the slide, Charlie’s car cut sharply in front, blocking Zoe’s path and effectively shutting down any chance for her to overtake. With Charlie heading straight for the finish, everyone thought the race had lost its suspense.
One said, “Is Charlie really her brother! He’s not holding back at all”
Someone said, “Yeah, even if the girl could fly, there’s no way she’s getting past him now.”
The track was only so wide, and with Charlie’s car blocking the lane, Zoe had nowhere to go. The other two lanes kept shifting, sometimes tight, sometimes wide, all thanks to Charlie’s relentless drifting.
If Zoe tried to f
to force her way through, shed risk a crash, maybe even her life. She was boxed in, with no way out. It looked like she was done for. With a loud bang, everything changed. In that split second, Zoe flashed a wild, reckless grin. Instead of following Charlie, she span the steering wheel hard, executing a daring maneuver that led to another thunderous cras
With just ten maybe fifteen meters left to the finish, she slammed her car straight into the track barrier.
Her car smashed into the rail, flipped into a full 360–degree spin in midur, and soared right over Charlie’s car. She rocketed across the finish line a full second ahead, crashing through the buffer zone.
Tires screeched as Zoe’s car landed, spinning our before she coolly brought it under control and eased off the gas. Through it all, she didn’t show a hint of fear, if anything she looked completely in her element.
Henry, watching from the sidelines, felt his heart pounding out of his chest.
He thought, Zoe had crashed her car into the barrier, using the force of the wreck to launch herself over Charlie and snatch first place.
If she’d slipped up for even a second, she’d have died right there. She’d just pulled off a stunt that could’ve killed her. But not only did she survive, she did it with jaw–dropping style. It is amazing!
