Over the next four years, Freddie kept interfering with the plot. He got rid of the school bullies and even shoved that
scumbag Hugo out of the picture.
Under his protection, it really did seem like the plot had been reversed.
However, it was all an illusion. Once a fate was written, there was no escaping it.
The system warned him repeatedly. No matter what he did, I would still die. He should just give up.
Freddie didn’t believe it until I died right in front of him.
At that moment, he nearly lost his mind.
He ignored the system’s warnings and used up his accumulated points to trade for a chance to rewind time.
But no matter how hard he tried, I always ended up dead.
After countless attempts, the desire to keep me alive became an obsession. His points dwindled, and the time he could rewind became shorter and shorter.
The last time he opened his eyes, it was the day before I confessed my feelings to him. It was late at night, and I was already sound asleep.
