1 greeted, as I entered the room occupied by Skylar and her two baby boys
1 had just arrived home, after a business trip that lasted almost a week to Hong Kong. I couldn’t wait to meet Skylar and my two godchildren, twins Noah and Nile, who were now 20 months old.
The first floor looked deserted, but I met one of the housekeeping staff downstairs who said that Skylar had arrived home since this afternoon and was immediately taking care of the twins in the room.
Skylar’s room door was not closed and I thought, she was asleep too, next to the twins who seemed to he sleeping soundly. She was lying on her side, facing away from the door, wearing light yellow pajamas with cute little ducks
The scent of baby powder mixed with the scent of lavender oil, made my chest feel warm
Since Skylar gave birth to the twins, this scent has become an addiction for me, especially when the twins have just been bathed or are about to go to bed.
Hearing my call, Skylar moved and turned around. She smiled with sleepy eyes when she saw me, then got up with careful movements so as not to wake the twins.

I became worried hearing Skylar’s report. “Should we take him to the doctor?”
“We’ll see tomorrow,” Skylar replied. “I gave him some anti–itch powder earlier and he’s sleeping soundly now, so it’s probably okay.”
We both went down to the first floor and Skylar immediately took me to the dining room.
“Have you had dinner?” she asked. “I can prepare your favorite shrimp pasta. I bought the ingredients before I got home from the office.
Of course I accepted her offer without hesitation. Skylar is very good at cooking, especially all any favorite foods. She has been doing it for me since. the first time I brought her an this house
It didn’t take long for her to make the delicious shrimp pasta and I was almost full when I finished
“You’ve gained weight, Skylar said, patting my stomach, as I stood up and walked to the counter to make coffee.
“Of course,” I said with a grin. “You always cook me delicious food and take care of my every need
Skylar smiled faintly. “Because that’s the least I can do for you, after all you’ve given me all this time”
My hand stopped moving, not putting the coffee beans into the machine. “Sky,” I called softly.
Skylar turned around. She was walking towards the sink. There were some cooking utensils and my used plates that needed to be washed.
“Yes?” she replied without stopping walking and then stood in front of the sink
I approached her and stood behind her, then wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my chin on her shoulder.
It was something I had never done before. When Skylar’s body was completely pressed against mise, my blood rippled and the flow felt very heavy.
Skylar likes to hug me, especially if I just come back home after being away for a few days, but it’s just a brief hug, just to make sure that I’m back and standing in front of her

I fell in love.
Now, when I hold her in this intimate position, I am sure that I love her more than just the desire to help and protect her. I want to have her, to be hers I want to live with her, make love to her, and build our life together.
“A–anthony, what are you doing? Skylar asked softly. Her movements of washing the dishes stopped and she seemed to freeze in my arms

I grabbed her chin and held it, forcing her to lift her face and our eyes met
I couldn’t see anything around me because my eyes were only focused on her, on her nervously blinking eyes and her trembling lips.
I moved my face closer to her and landed my lips on hers. She felt sweet and soft, wet and supple.
I think she missed me too, judging by her response to my kiss. Her lips moved in rhythm with mine and when I tightened my embrace, she lifted both her arms and wrapped them around my neck.
